At a pretty high blind level, you got a 20 minute penalty for eating cards. That wasn't a strategic decision.

This is pretty far off. It's not as if he has an easy c/c on the turn w/ A high, and when behind he often has 6 outs. Even if he is somewhat suspicious she is pure floating, it's often going to be better for him to fire again on the turn and win the pot right there as opposed to having to make a hero calldown.

Ya also disagree with this. Her range (esp when he has 7x for combo reasons) has a ton of Ax/33-66 making it a clear spot to v-bet again to a) protect his equity b) get called by a worse hand and v rarely a better one and c) this is a distant third, but being unable to bet a hand as strong as 7x here is pretty bad for metagame.

River, Jx. Basebaldy checks. Now melanie checks back think that she isn't going to get him off 9x, 99+ and she is ahead of everything that is air except for KQ, so she checks back.

Although non-standard and probably not optimal under these conditions, her flop and turn play are at least defendable. River, particularly on that card, is a clear bet imo. In addition to it being very difficult for you to have air period when u flat the flop and turn (which of c is 1 of the biggest benefits to flatting w/ no pair no draw twice), the J is gin because it fills a few of your pure flop floats that pick up equity on the turn (JT/J8/T8). I think he def might have thrown away 97 if you bet there, let alone a bunch of weaker hands that are ahead of KT. If your image is such that you are going to get looked up light, then it's likely not so good to double float here, particularly on such a transparent board to float the flop.

Pretty sure Melanie was just leveling, as the previous analysis by 'borderline' was terrible on so many levels. Also pretty terrible that the preflop raiser was presumed to be "leading" the flop and turn but thats just being nitty

Even his "Melanie slumming it now with KQ, a step down from AQ" is facepalm.jpg-worthy. When he says it, it's as if he's yelling to the audience, "Get it? Because she had AQ the hand before now she has KQ which is a notch below so she's slumming it with that holding! Get it?"

I mean, that's what I'm thinking, so I would love for callisto to tell me if I'm just flat out dead wrong and was just leveling in saying "u got it".

OK episode I guess. Kinda rooting for Dwan now; as soon as he doubled up he started to get real interested. He's done pretty well considering he has been pretty card dead compared to the others.

Anyone notice the graphics error when Luckychewy was knocked out and the chip stacks came up they still had him at 13k even though he'd just been knocked out lol

u ARE wrong. Pretty much every street was botched in your analysis and it doesnt take Melanie to tell you that. However if she wasnt leveling and she had the same thought process as you, then you're both wrong lol

I think the real question is did chewy smash.

Pretty sweet lineup i think. I hope chewy gets more TV time in the future. Baldwin was boring and played super standard and Melanie is pretty cute and seems to be quite good. Durrrr is always fun to watch
