I just checked my red label (I play often) account and received one free room from Sunday - Thursday, plus the usual Sunday-Thursday poker room rate ($59). Also, got a "special" rate for Friday night (called and lady said $125).

I'm just trying to figure out how I got it. I was in AC about a month ago on a week's vacation and played maybe 5 times, about 50%/50% 10/20 limit and 1/2 NL.

Does any one know if comp rooms are based on total playing time? limits? some combination? Also, I played about $100 worth of slots (nickel) on one day because I had read here that helps with free room offers.

Assuming no one has the Borgata free room guidebook, I was wondering what limits others have played to get offers, especially on the low end. I assume the high limit players receive offers routinely.

Comparisons to other casinos would also be welcome. Unlike the haters, I'm a fan of the Taj, Borg, and SB. (Others are fine too, just don't see any real reason to play there given the limited game selection).

Same here. Though I also have free parking in all of November and December, too!

I've been playing roughly 275 hours of $2-5 NLHE.

I go twice a year for a weekend and got the offer. I do play about 35-40 hours each of the weekends I'm there, but that's all.

The economy is bad; empty rooms are worth nothing to them so discounted rooms to get players in the building is better than empty rooms and no players.

I got the same offer and I am staying there for two nights in about 2 weeks. I'll try and post pics of the room. And maybe some random hotties too.

I have the same offers and play 5/10 NL once a week. But I don't give them a dime in other games, so I don't expect to get anything more from them.

3. Lots of people still aren't spending money like they were a couple of years ago.
4. One day, the Revel will steal some of their players.

just dont do anything stupid or unruly while you stay there, the borgata police will be sure to kick you out on the street. make sure you dont make even the slightest of noises while youre in the room, they will come knockin at your door lol. i would know from experiance =p

Your post actually reassures me that Borgata has good security and deals properly with loud noisy drunks. I will have to make it a point to stay there.
