I came across this:
http://www.tworags.com/files/la%20comps.htm

(btw, is there one for other cities, in particular San Diego and Vegas?)

1) Looking at the Bicycle's rake:

No flop, no drop; $1 from blind
$1 + $3 + $1 for jackpot
$1 + $4 + $1 for jackpot

What's "$1 from blind?"

What's "$1 + $3 + $1?"

2) How "good" is no flop, no drop? I don't play live, so I'm not familiar with game, but what % hands don't see the flop? Is this high enough to make no flop, no drop a distinguishable feature for a casino?

Thanks.

Every casino I've ever played in was No Flop-No Drop, and I've been under the impression that such a structure was standard outside of CA.

I believe the 1+3+1 is the $1 that gets taken from every hand from the blinds, plus the rake, plus the $1 Bad Beat Jackpot drop.

I see, so is $1/round standard, i.e only the big blind pays the additional $1?

Some casinos don't do NFND. California Grand in Pacheco comes to mind. blind steal? full drop. oh you wanna chop? guess what: you CAN'T!

If it weren't so damn juicy I would never go there.
