Well, last night in LA at the Commerce. It's been a great trip so far. Finally got a real Commerce maniac at the table. He lasted 30 minutes before blowing up to the point five very large security guys escorted him out. Only seen one fight. What's the world coming to? Gotta love CC.

HG and the Bike, too, for a bit. We liked the Bike better. Good game, but lacked the "energy" of Commerce.

Trip reports won't follow. I suck at trip reports. I ate, slept little and played poker. End of story. lol

How did Cactus Jackie do? And yes, you can tell her thats her new nickname.

Good seeing you Jack & Jackie. Sorry didn't get to the same table as you but three 2+2ers and a freind might have gotten a bit tough at that table. Glad you got to see Commerce and its glory.

IMO from what I saw of her in Vegas, CJackie is going to be a tough player one day when she ups the agg a bit more.

On four hours sleep, and wondering where my youth went when I could do this all the time...

Played in the very best game of poker ever in my life! Started at midnight, and got on a table with the very worst players in the whole, wide world of sports. I couldn't figure out which seat to switch to, because there was literally NO seat that wasn't in front of an idiot. Every donkey saw every flop, frequently capping the flop, but hardly ever raising post-flop. Limp-reraising with any two cards. Raising PF with J7s. Unreal. One guy had 4 racks and paper underneath and provided a lot of entertainment with his play. He couldn't. At all.

At 6 am, I cashed out up almost 3 racks, despite having QQ cracked twice and KK cracked for huge pots. A Q on the river in the last orbit completing a boat, put a lot of chips in the win column. (I had the 2nd nut flush redraw which would have been a winner.)

For the trip, I made $25.75/hr at 4/8, or the above 3.2BB/hr.

Imagine what a person who doesn't suck at poker could do!

Great trip. I hate you guys who live here. My envy is boundless. Money hangs on the trees in LaLa Land.

Nice to meet you and CJ as well. Yes, I usually wear the hat. But I'm not a real regular. I just started playing poker about eight months ago and hit HG 2-3 times a month right now.

FYI, your nerves showed to both me and CJ, Mwette. No offense, but a review of SSHE would be a good idea. You need to play your good cards harder and get off your bad cards sooner. Nothing out of the ordinary for your level of experience.

A perfect starting point. Try and assess why your play is different now. My "guess" is that you are trying to focus on post-flop issues while still being unsure of PF strategy. That will leave you feeling uncertain on how to play the entire hand. I suggest that you review your PF strategy against SSHE to make sure your foundation is strong. That will make it MUCH easier to approach post flop play.
