Not sure if these have been posted before but I've never seen them... it's basically a few videos where HSP players walk us through a hand they've played... it includes Dwan walking through that famous Q10 hand against Barry's AA and Eastgate's trip deuces.

The Dwan one really gives you a feel for why he is so good. He's basically trying to knock two balls into the pocket with one shot there. He obviously has to get Eastgate to fold, because he's figured out what Eastgate has. And then he's got to rely on the fact that he was willing to bet into Eastgate's obvious deuce to get Greenstein to fold. And he had the guts to pull it off.

after hearing daniel explain his A8 hand, it seemed a lot less bad than when i watched it on HSP. raising to fold a split was interesting, and he got dwan to check back, and he mightve lost the same amount any way he played it.

I would have seriously considered folding in Eastgate's spot there, especially with Barry behind. Great play from Dwan.

Yes, he played the hand to perfection, got called on 3 streets with 4s, ten kicker. He must have done everything right, just unlucky, so there is no need to berate.
He got called on PAD by Dwan on two streets, holding 3s with 5 kicker, that was another good play by Laak, just unlucky.
Therefore we should call his big bet bluffs good plays, because they seem to work high percentage of the time.

thanks op, I'm assuming there's only ones for HSP season 6?

After watching those I still don't understand(and amazed at) Patrik's call most likely due to Robl's explanation lol + really liked Dwan's insight, just gave me a slight glance into his thinking, pretty smart+imaginative compared to the other players on that table.

+1. It's very interesting to hear these guys describe their hand reading. I realize that they almost surely tailored their comments to make themselves look good (as they knew how the hands turned out), but it still is educational for recreational players like me.
