The otherside of that argument is that there's quite a bit of potential for a hand that has him beat already (especially since Dwan flat called pre-flop).

Eastgate had position, and could make assessments by Dwans out of position play on the river if a scare card came up.

That spot in the turn isn't really a spot to re-raise in a game that deep. Durrr kind of overplayed his hand there, but he had a decent chance of getting paid off if Eastgate did have an overpair, so I can't blame him.

Eastgate would have almost certainly raised a smaller bet by durrr. Effectively, durrr's bet became a defensive bet, although I'm sure he wasn't thinking of it that way when he made it.

That look Durrr gave Eastgate is almost the exact same one he gave Chan in PAD when Dwan had TT vs JJ on a 7-high flop and Johnny "limp-everything" Chan only won like 6 big blinds.

He didnt play it that bad, just messed around too much preflop, and got scared after flop call from durrrr. if he bets like 60% pot on the turn and river (if called) he would prolly get away with it. But, given the circumstances, he decided it was best to pick another spot. Im not a 3 barrel bluff advocate, but this time it woulda work IMO.
