Joe actually doesn't do a lot of the analysis on The Big Game. According to Joe, Fricke actually does a lot of the hand analysis and then Joe goes over all the analysis and formats it and makes sure everything fits nicely along with his jokes, explanation of the game, etc. That being said, he's still a great commentator imo with a good energetic voice for it, and The Big Game should definitely keep him.

He would be amazing for the show, it would bring back alot of the lost credibility that has been suffered this season, and he'd be cheaper than Norm. Where is the downside in this producers?

I will gladly jump on this band wagon! I've only seen him a couple of times on tv, but he definitely has a very cool, laid back and interesting persona. I think him teaming up with Norm would be amazing.

since when can a commentator only be someone who everyone knows beforehand???

The overwhelming majority of TV poker commentators are people who the general public did not know at all prior to them being in their roles.

and btw u clearly haven't been following poker very long. most people who've been invovled with the poker and gambling communities for any decent amount of time know who bob is. HSP and 2+2 are a small minority of his involvement in the gambling community. do a little research.

There was actually some talk about me doing some guest commentating for this season but then not sure what happened and GSN took over by hiring Norm.

I appreciate the comments and sentiment, I don't think I have the voice for commentating but I might be interested in giving it a shot. Its tough because as mentioned I am not really looking for work, and I am pretty busy during basketball season. If my schedule somehow opened up and I went on hormone therapy to get some tenor to my voice I might be game.
