Do I deserve a KITN? Do I deserve a KITN?

I was playing 3/6 limit hold em when this situation comes up.

I was in seat 3 when seats 2 and 5 start talking (they were friends but I don't think that really matters). Seat 2 (was going to be UTG when the dealers done shuffling) said "if I raise dark will you reraise dark?" they both agree and the dealer deals the cards.

Seat 2 raises, and I look down at AA. I know if I reraise it will void their arrangement. I have played with these two before and when they do this that is their standard policy.

So I called seat 5 raises, 19 others called (gotta love no foldem holdem!) and seat 2 calls and I cap.

They said I was dicking them around. I didn't think this was that bad... But maybe it is. What do you guys say?

Those guys were just ticked because OP had aces. Did you win the hand OP?

They said you were dicking them around? Well I guess what's good for the goose is not good for the gander. Awww, poor babies.

they think you were dicking them around yet when they raised and reraised dark they weren't dicking around the rest of the table? they can't expect the other players at the table to not play their hand properly just because they're not looking. tell the to STFU and play the next hand.

Flopped a set actually. And got paid off by a few people because the pot was so large no one could fold.

Nice win IMO.

Very nice.

Considering how bad your odds dropped off with everyone calling pre flop, I can't see what they are complaining about.

Were you supposed to play badly just because they were?

Sour grapes for them, sweet wine for you.

While I don't disagree with the other posters, I don't see a reason to cap here. Maybe I'm rusty at Limit but your cap is not going to get folds or value and calling disguises your hand somewhat. Again, maybe my Limit game is off.

Standard.

POF, I love your posts, but WAY off here.
You are not looking for folders, but it does get value, getting money in with the best hand. You don't need to disguise your hand in $3-$6 limit, you just bet out and raise out when you think you are ahead and dodge bullets and win or lose.

No need to get cute and no need to slow play, especially in the big multi way pots.

What mfpaul said. Its ridiculous that they got mad at you for this. You should have politely pointed out that the dicking around was clearly a trend started by them.

I agree. You raise for value preflop in SSHE. You notice how he flopped a set and still got action all the way down?

Had you not managed to twice indicate in your own post that your judgment might be wrong, I imagine everyone posting after you in this thread would have done so with sentences chock full of words like "awful" and horrendous".
It's 3/6 Limit, live, no one ever folds, but we don't want them to. We might as well get as much in the pot as we can when we're ahead. People would 9-bet KTo if it were possible to do so, so let's cap it pre and build value for the times our hand does manage to hold.

I folded once preflop in the $3/6 at Gila. Once.

I was so prepared to answer yes, since if you have to ask then you probably do. I was disappointed.

Did anyone else think the story would have been they agreed to raise/reraise dark and then didn't and OP claimed verbal binding?
You do get a KITN for posting this!

So two players are discussing what action they will take during a hand and you want to know if you did something wrong? And this is their "standard policy"? They colluded and should be kicked out of the casino permanently.

Sounds pretty good to me.

As long as you don't QQ when aces get cracked, and I am definitely not suggesting that you would then there is nothing here for anyone to get upset about.

Perhaps the friends could use a seat change. At the start of alot of 5/10 sessions I do the double blind reraise with a friend to loosen up the table - - for an extra 5 bucks I can't imagine them caring and they can clearly identify you as someone who knows whats happening.

If they were being underhanded - they could turn around and squeeze the **** out of you sitting in the middle, but that's a rather underhanded topic for another time lol.
