What's so hard to understand? Phil's tirades are what most casual players and nonplayers for that matter, want to watch. He helps ratings no matter how stupid he is.

I mean, look there's a 4 page thread is a supposedly poker player's forum about him still. He puts asses in seats. Tournaments and TV stations know this that's why he gets away with more than anyone else.

Now is this right or wrong? It's not right, but it benefits poker in that it gets people to watch.

Let's face it, Phil's tirades have continuing entertainment value. They'll be busting out these clips when he's 60.

Here is the clip.

The aggressive call line/inside joke is so much win. Look at him starting to smile as he says it.

"I know honey he's some online guy."

best quote in WSOP history imo.

Hellmuth could argue that he really does think people are playing badly and it frustrates him, but when he goes after the Dealers it completely kills any rationalization for his behavior and reall exposes him as just screaming to scream.

The best part of that clip is the dealer saying "I just down sir" with a grin. That cracks me up.
