At commerce casino about how many lower limit PLO tables do they have going? As for lower limit 1/2- 2/5. When I was living in Vegas you may find one just once in a while but I didn't know of any steady game. I ask about commerce casino because they have the most serious action and the most tables.


In Florida with the limits going up everyone thinks there are going to be a bunch of tables at those limits, I tried to tell them those players will not have the bank rolls or skill level to handle the swings so at first they may but not for long.

I dont recall seeing a ton of PLO in the low stakes area.

I think the No Limit omaha runs more at the low limit (like 2-500 buyin).

Unless it just now started I ve never seen any PLO in the low limit area.

the $500 - $1500 (5/5 blinds) plo game ran right near the "$500" nl tables. it runs more often on the weekends. never seen or heard of any lower stakes plo game running there.

No, the state still has to vote, I think the Indians are going to wait, they don't want to mess up there other pact. That is just my opinion from the rumors I am hearing, so it means nothing.

There will be a 5/10 PLO game tonight at Hustler/LA starting at about 7 pm.

i ended up missing out on the plo cash game at hustler the other night cuz i finished 3rd in the tourney! we were frickin 3 handed for literally 3 hours. i raise/folded a boat to stay alive at one point, but ended up getting unlucky when i got all in pre with JJT8cchh v. 4469ccc. he made a straight with the gutter 8 on the river.

did you play in the tourney and/or cash game? how was it?

I played both. Ran up a big stack early in the tourney, then torched it in three consecutive pots at L6. Moved to the 5/10 PLO cash game and felted $2300 in two big pots with my 2nd nut vs the nut-nut both times. Bought in again for $2000, played until almost 5am, cashed out almost $6000 and took off for my day job...

was the cash game HA or straight plo? and did a bunch of those tourney players jump into it? if so, i think i sacrificed EV by sticking it out in the tourney.

No lower limit plo but Commerce has the 500-1500 buy in 5/5 blinds going semi-regularly on the weekends (it was going last night.) With the LAPC starting next week, expect some higher games going for plo. Last year there was a 10/10 blind that seemed to be full at all hours for the duration (don't remember the buy in) as well as the usual plo in different kind of combo games. Hope this helps.

500-1500 PLO going last night around 5ish, smallest game ive seen.

I left Commerce around 11pm last night, I was watching it for a bit and saw that everyone was at least 1K deep. Pots weren't really that big for the time I watched (variance imo) and people were playing semi nitty.

The 5/5 PLO ($500 to $1500 cap) at Commerce is becoming a fixture Friday and Saturday nights, built around a particular Indian player and his buddies.

Yesterday in the early afternoon at Commerce there was a 5/10 PLO/NLH mix game ($600 min buy-in no cap). Never checked back in and there were only 5 players at that hour.

In the evening last night there were two 5/5 PLO games going as of 2:00 a.m. (w/one must move). Both games had multiple soft spots pumping action.

I doubt a smaller game than 5/5 will go at the Commerce anytime in the near future. However, PLO is a great game and it's popularity can only increase over time and we are certain to see the game evolve to a standard staple in American casinos and not a weekend phenom at some point.

Commerce has been spreading a PLO 10-10 blind game that was played half the night with a mandatory straddle. the game probably wont be spread 24/7 but during the middle of the week, we had a pretty full game till about midnight and then we played three handed till about 4ish in the morning, i am expecting the game to run for the duration of the LAPC.

Haha. I know exactly who u are referring to. Last time I played that game, I got all in with him soon after the table opened. We both flopped top two, but I had two straight draws vs his two blank low cards. He caught running 7s to scoop it. Needless to say it was a good game.
