So in honour of procrastinating for this essay I have to write, I thought i'd post some pics from this past weekend. Back on the Heat!
This two below is from thursday at Cowboys Casino, Calgary. Ive been trying to complete the 2k Pyramid in 1/2 for 2 months now and always fall just short. Thanks to a 900 BB pot with one pair (hand below), I made it over the edge this time. In for 300, out for 2150.
(I make it 10 UTG and "usually plays higher-stakes, lost 14k in baccarat, Im broke" guy flats the small blind. There is $22 in the pot, I have AKcc. Flop comes Kh, Tc, 6c. Villain checks I bet $15, villain raises to $55, I call. Turn is 9h. Villain bets $165, I call. River is a 6d. Villain ships for $700, I have him covered, tank and call. I just don't think he ever goes for value that big on the turn with a straight and if he did he wouldn't over bet ship the river when the board pairs. He also said something to me after he c/r the flop which would be very unlikely for him to do with a set. I enjoyed the 5 minute lecture outside about how it's a bad call after the hand though
)
These are from Friday. I was worried about having a bad session after a big day so I had some fun, took some weird lines, and it ended up working out. Castles are fun: in for 350 out for 1700.
Made another K on Saturday and rapped up an epic weekend
. Run good 2+2
