I was looking at their website today and see they are doing a $100,000 Free Roll for hours played. I normally don't play enough hours between CBY and RA, but I sure am going to try and qualify for this, also I probably won't be heading up to RA until after this is over. Seems to me like a pretty aggressive move to capture Live Play. Does anyone have any insight on how many players they would get for this tournament? I have no idea how many people can log the hours needed to qualify. Hope I can make it.

Discussion the other day at the table came up with 200. I joined late, so no clue how they came up with that. Dealer who also floors was part of discussion.

~10 weeks @ 17.5h/week for direct entry to final
~10 weeks @ 10.0h/week for qualifer

alas, I won't be able to make either between work/family/travel obligations.

I will be in it! 175 hours might be tough, but 100 is a slam dunk.

I was thinking it might be more like 300-400 players. I was assuming nearly 200 for the prelim and finals.

At 200 players, it is a free $500 entry, At 400, free $250, not bad at all. If it is under 200 players, I recommend a pretournament chop.
