Looks like the bravo app is having some issues. Is it just me or is the current live games and current waiting list section blank for everyone?

The total tables seems to still be working but you cannot see the types of games running. Been like this since this morning. Surprised no one posted yet!

Maybe it's that specific casino. Works fine for me.

Yesterday, the mobile app wasn't working, but if you went to the website in your browser, everything was fine.

I was going to do that, until they asked me for my gmail password.

They aren't asking for your gmail password.

They're asking you to sign into google and asking google to verify that you're who they think.

It's a single sign on model - quite safe. They never see your pw directly.

my google password is also my gmail password, so I didn't need the info that bad. I wasn't trying to purchase anything I don't see why I had to prove who I am to get general table info from their website

Yes, that's true of everyone with a gmail address.

Bravo requires that all users identify themselves by some means. It offers 15 mechanisms by which to do so.

My point is, your PW is not shared with Bravo. Bravo asks Yahoo or Google. or (lol) Myspace "Do you know this guy?" and when you log in to that site, it replies, 'Yeah he's ok'.

Presumably google, yahoo, whatever shares your userid (email address, whatever) but that would be it - NOT your password.

Again - it's called 'single sign on'.

Just because you are entering your pass code while re-directed to another web page does not mean you can be 100% certain you are entering it to the entity they appear to be. Ever hear of phishing?

I never log out of Yahoo. When I go to the Bravo Poker Live site I click the Yahoo button, and I’m in.

Seems like the thing to do would be to log in to Google on a page you know is good, then go to Bravo and click the Google button.

yeah I'm also always logged into gmail so it was weird why I would have to log in again. This happens a lot to people on facebook and then they get their account hacked and spam gets sent out to everyone from their account.

There are many ways to log in. If you don't like the google log in process because your google account is important to you, then just make an account on one of the other sites.

Btw, I'm pretty sure it is doing exactly the same thing when you use the app on your phone, you just don't see it.

Biggest reason for doing this is probably to block certain users. Some people have made attempts at collecting the data, but that always seems to get shut down. I think this is too bad, because a lot of interesting information could be found. Which games run on which days and for how long, etc.

Another reason could be a future enhancement to be able to put yourself on a list for a game from the app, which would be pretty awesome.

if they do add this function in the future, I hope they have a stipulation that you need to be within x miles of the property, otherwise they will be wasting hours calling people who never show up. It's sometimes already bad enough with walk-in's not showing up to a game I could imagine what it would be like if you can put yourself on the list from anywhere in the world thru the app.

Bravo on my phone does not list games, just the waiting list.

Bravo on my computer will not accept my zip code, just defaults to Vegas.

I'm having exact same problem.

I updated my app, so far so good-I can see live game listings.

No clue why the zip code isnt working on the full website.
