Hope it's better at the new place, CoS.
Saw a similar thing once, but without the hostility, so I'm not comparing this to your story: pretty girl at the table, all the Romeos are flirting with her. One says, "I've played with you before, you called me a (whatever)."
"That doesn't sound like anything I would ever say to anybody. I don't even use that word." He stuck by his story. She started questioning where/when that happened. "Here, about a year or two ago."
She then informed him that this was her first time in the room.

Otherwise, people who yell at the dealers for dumb **** are scum and need to be smacked down.
Yeah, everyone ELSE who does what you do is "scum". Not you, tho. It's different when you do it.
It never even OCCURS to me to yell at a dealer who miscounts a pot, or a cashier who can't mentally calculate how much change I'm due, or any of the other countless imcompetent folks we run into every single day.
Do you do this everywhere, or just when you're gambling for money? I can see how that would exacerbate things, and I know this can be a frustrating game...but good grief, keep it in perspective. It's a game! It's not a referendum on your intelligence, it's not a measure of your self-worth. If the stakes are affecting you that much, find a smaller game. If you need to win every hand you play, you're in for a lifetime of frustration. Why do that to yourself?
