Best place to monitor the goings-on at the Bellagio and Wynn? Best place to monitor the goings-on at the Bellagio and Wynn?

I follow some of the threads here at 2+2 that cover the B&M action at places like the Borgata. It's sort of a fun diversion from the tedium of work. However I have yet to find similar places to monitor the action and daily happenings at the Bellagio, Wynn, and other major Las Vegas casinos. What websites are the best place to follow this kind of information? Are they any?

Great thanks. It looks promising. I was starting to worry I had asked something silly because I was getting no replies. My question isn't a FAQ and I've done searching and everything and didn't find the answer I was looking for. I kind of thought 2+2 was *the* place for high-stakes discussion but the B&M forums seem very skewed to the east coast. I have never heard of AllVegasPoker before. Thanks again!

I wouldn't expect one poker site to advertise another poker site, so I wouldn't expect to see AVP mentioned in any FAQ. But by and large, 2+2 and AVP serve different purposes and enjoy a relatively peaceful coexistence. AVP is pretty quiet on the strategy side, but has excellent threads devoted to each Vegas poker room which often get participation from the poker room managers. And AVP has the database of tournaments, which is the best source of current info on that topic (it's almost never 100% accurate, but it's effectively impossible to keep such a DB 100% accurate when trying to track 50 rooms, each of which change their tourney offerings about every 6mo--something changes somewhere almost every week).

AVP seems to have what I was asking about. Unfortunately the chatter in Big Rooms threads is very low. There hasn't been a post about the Bellagio since Jun 30, 2010 and only a couple posts about the Wynn in the last couple months. The Borgata thread here at 2+2 is much more active and players are more willing to share stories about daily happenings. So, if AVP is the best place for high stakes vegas grinder talk, then there just aren't enough people who contribute to keep it interesting. Certainly, Stan's outstanding engagement with the player's through his updates goes a long way to encourage online discussion.

AVP is absolutely not the place to go to gossip about high stakes. The vast majority of active AVP types are NL1/2 grinders and 2/4 tourists. Anything over NL5/10 or 20/40 is uncharted territory for most AVPers.

You'll find much of the AVP room-specific chatter is about what rooms are doing what nifty promos this month. In the case of Bellagio, the answer is always "nothing". Not sure what else there is to talk about. I guess I'm having trouble imagining what sorta gossip you're looking for.

If AVP is not the best place to follow the pulse of those rooms, what other places would you suggest? I suppose I am looking for something similar to the Borgata thread here at 2+2. I like reading about big games (5/10+ NL) that got wild. I like reading stories about dealer errors in big games (well, "like" in the sense of it being interesting how it was resolved). Or hearing about new room rules. Or how the room was jumping because of some event. Basically conversation that tracks what's going on and the information that a regular would be aware about.

The Bellagio has lost a lot of respect. I've talked to dozens of people who will never go back to that place. They cram you in like sardines, and there are too many tables in too small of a space.

They could have had all the business. They certainly could have had most of the Venetian business if they had simply expanded and enlarged their room and tried to accommodate everyone.

Bobby's Room rarely has a game--another waste of real estate.

The Bellagio is the only room that has much in the way of bigger limit games. They have 15 and 30h, and sometimes 100h or higher. The 20 stud still goes now and again, but it is on its last legs. They probably have more 5-10 NL than anyone else, and they are the only room that has 10-20 NL and occasionally 25-50 NL.

I really don't know what there is to talk about concerning the games on a day to day basis. You sit down and play--other than that--it's just poker.

I also would like to see the happenings at the Bellagio on a day to day basis. I get there about once a month for bout 3 days and would love to keep up with the room while I am not in town.
