Is 1.5 milly the number? I know a woman that's at that level playing $5 VP but had no idea it was that much.

It can be done in 500k. If you're playing a VP machine that requires $10 coin-in per point (in some casinos the better paying machines require more), you can cycle in $50k in 1 day which gets you 5k tier credits plus 10k bonus tier credits. Do this 10 times and you're there.

There are a few threads in OGG and LVL that talk about optimal ways to get 7 stars.

Thanks for the info. She also plays poker and told me about the comps she got at Caesar's for the Series and I was incredulous.

I ran pretty good honestly, i hit a 160k jackpot on the 100 buck machine after putting 1300 in. I was able over the next few months to play very high and swing hard to achieve 7 star. It took a little time but now its all good and I just grind poker. I get about 2500 a month in free table play or slot play as well as other awesome perks.

How many months have you gotten ~2500 in free play since grinding only poker.

How long do you expect it to last?

Is it better to sign up online, or wait until I arrive Vegas? Where do I go to sign up? I know I can sign up online at the total rewards website, but what good does that do if I don't have the physical card?

Also I am staying in Vegas for 6 nights and only plan on playing poker, which casinos can I use my total rewards at, Is there some kind of list?

Any property owned by Ceasar's entertainment, however if you're new with total rewards the benefits are slim, especially if you're playing exclusively poker

What should be mentioned in here (but hasn't) is that for WSOP.com players you can link your WSOP.com account to your total rewards account and earn points playing online poker much faster than you would playing live poker.

I've grinded out multiple free rooms in points while staying in rooms at CET properties. Granted, they were like $27 a night rooms but free room is free room.

Blackjack is also great for keeping your comps up. When I stay on like a weeklong comped trip poker trip I'll devote one day to playing the HU limit machine and then taking the profit to a blackjack table, hopefully winning a bit of casino money to start, and then keeping that gamble pile stagnant for as many hours as possible. You don't need big swings to get comps at blackjack, you just need a decent average bet and the luck to break-even for a long period of time.

Don't use comps for food either and avoid using free play in favor of longer comped stays if you're going to be playing poker.

Good to know, thanks. Is there any other way to get any rakeback/comps in the card rooms? I am guessing the non-Ceaser Casinos have their own players card or something...

Perks:

so far 14 pairs of beats headphones, 5 ipads, 2 ipods, a 7 day cruise, a ton of free play, presidential suite whenever I want, eat 200 to 250 in free food weekly...so far its benen sick and I think 7 star if used right and have a host is worth 50-60k a year in midwest.

Your host is going to start hating you if you make him look bad giving you all that stuff and all your play is poker now.

So, in theory, figuring a 97% payback for VP (which I know is not entirely accurate), 7-star could cost you $15,000. It's hard to believe how the reality of that could be possible, though. I imagine you'd have to really hit a few huge hands like OP apparently did.

In comparison, I'd estimate that, with the new tier bonus rules, it has probably cost me about $7,000 to 8,000 each of the past two years just to hit diamond. And, there are basically no real benefits to it. A $100 dinner voucher, lounge access, quick check-in . . . that' about it. As far as free play . . . I get about 5x more from MDL! and I hardly ever even play there.

Caesars pretty much sucks. Yet, it gets my play simply because it's the only place with local casinos and joints in vegas

$1/2$ NLHE maybe 12 hours a day for the 7 days I'm there. Is it even worth it to get a players card or whatever?

Most poker rooms in Vegas pay $1 or $2 per hour of poker played that can be used for food or beverage. So it is a good idea to get a card.
