There is a big billboard on the Atlantic City Expressway (seen as one is heading west) advertising "Arx Casino". Says that it will open in December. Nothing indicates where this will be or what it is.

I tried a Google search but came up empty.

Anybody know anything about it?

I saw the same sign yesterday and was wondering also. I did a google search and the only thing that came up was this post. It's weird how a casino could be opening in December with absolutely no mention of it on the net! I don't think it can be the Revel casino next to Showboat as that is not scheduled until 2010-2011.

Definitely not the Revel casino. While they are still building the one tower, and finishing off the outside, they aren't working on the interior yet. No way can that be ready to open in 6 months!

What am I missing ? It cannot be a new casino. It must be the renaming of an old one or renaming a section of a old one. The Clarridge?

I looked at the billboard again yesterday and I saw a little CBS logo so I'm thinking it might be a new TV show/game show. The Claridge has renamed a section with gaming, nightlife, etc The Ridge.

I am pretty sure this casino is opening right next to the philadelphia racetrack casino. They are almost done building it and looks like its guna open soon soo...

If you look at the sign it actually has the top left corner covered in what looks like something to peel off. I am guessing that what is behind is a P for PARX which is the new name for Philadelphia Park Casino in Bensalem.

Thanks for the information. The timing is right as well. The billboard says December, and the article mentions 5 months from when it was written, which was in July. So the dates match.
