The only poker room around has a rake structure (NLHE) of 5% with the same cap for each limit. For the highest limit games, only running some nights, the cap is at 6BB. For the games running all the time, the cap is 15BB.

Obviously this is a bad rake, but do others think the lower limit games are even worth playing in? I've been thinking about how a 5%/15BB cap would compare to a 10%/5BB cap, but I'm not really sure how to approach question.

Wow. That's more than the cruise ships rake.

10/25 would be $150 max rake.
5/10 would be $150 max rake.
2/5 would be $75 max rake.
1/2 would be $15 max rake.

I'd venture a guess that the rake is unbeatable at these levels.

He says on one hand that the cap is the same for all limits and then that its 15BB for low limit and 6 BB for high limit.

So I was interpretting it as something like

$30 cap on $1-$2 and $30 cap on $2-$5

not sure how else to interpret this (even though $2-$5 is not high limit).

I think he meant that the cap (15BBs) was the same for games running all the time.

Hell, even at $30 the games would be unbeatable in any manner of a long run.

10% up to 10BB is what lots of places in Europe have for 1/2 games. At least some of them are beatable..

Yeah this is right. In any case it looks like the games are beatable, average stack is 200+BB, Mississippi straddle to any amount, horrendous play. Not very fun games though, miserable place, I'm not thrilled.

that seems horrible

even the underground card rooms that take 5% cap at 4 BB lol

this sounds like an underground game. The games in NYC have a lower rake than this game.
