I hope somebody can answer this question for me.
I looked up the user names I jotted down after watching via Netflix "Two months, two million" at pokertableratings.com

The majority of these guys, at least on full tilt, are huge lifetime losers, assuming ptr is accurate (anyway, it's accurate for me on Merge). So, are these guys really poker millionaires at all. Were they at one time but lost it? Or can somebody simply explain this to me?

Here's one example. Ansky451, Dani Stern, is a career $318K loser at full tilt. And pr1nnyraid, Jason Rosenkrantz, is said to be down almost 600K at full tilt. So, are these great players who lost their minds? Are they players who were really hot for a period of time and never experienced real variance until after they'd won hundreds of thousands? Can somebody simply make sense of this stuff to me please?

All of those guys won a cple millions before poker table ratings existed. ptr has only tracked since it came online, these guys played the majority of their poker careers before then. The losses are just what they experienced the last few months before they stopped playing. (I believe they moved on to having their own businesses/pursuing careers/continuing in poker but either live or poker websites n etc)

Dani Stern in particular has become a much better player. As far as TV Poker I've seen him on the Big Game and the Super High Roller $100K Euro event.

I've watched a couple episodes after being out of the poker loop for past few years but I remember when this show came out these guys were well known and I think I remember them posting on 2+2 back in the day. Just wondering how they were affected by Black Friday/what they're up to now.

This show is amazing, i just love watching it again & again,,,,so much fascinating.

I stumbled on to 2M2MM recently. I thought the premise was good but it was poorly executed, Way Way to much about the Vegas life style and to little about the "goal" of 2MM. It was almost like they all played poker by accident as a way of killing time between parties and going to dinner. No reason to have the high school penalties for low winner of the week, these were unwatchable.

The best part by far was when one of the guys is heads up vs Viffer. Why do we need to see these sociably awkward guys trying to party in Vegas?
