Do all casinos have 10max $1/2 tables? Are they all 6max or different depending on where you go?

Parx has 9 max 1/2 tables. 9/10max is the norm. Never hear of a 6max except in tournaments but I'm sure a casino will spread if that is what their customers want and they can profit from it.

You'll find $1/$2 and $1/$3 in Vegas and the tables will all be 9 or 10 handed. Caesars was the only place I know that tried 6 handed live games but they never ran.

All of the places I've played 1/2 are 9- or 10-handed, but the Borgata does spread 6-max games. I believe the blinds are 2/3 and 3/5 with deeper buy-ins than their regular NLHE games.

I believe all the casinos in AC are 10-handed. 9-handed is more common in Vegas but not universal. 6-handed has been tried in several places (most notably Borgata) but always fails.

the mid and lower stakes games tend to be 10 handed. the higher ones mostly 9.

Once in a while (happened again recently) a casino will allow a game to run 11 handed. I recently had to squeeze onto a usually 10 handed table with 10 OTHER players and the dealer. It was a tight squeeze and the floor decided to allow this to happen to save the game from breaking...not sure of their reasoning but it was a Vegas casino on the strip on the graveyard shift.

I'm confused. If there was already 10 players on the game how was the table at risk of breaking?

CET will go to 11 in order to sit a seven stars player even if there are no seats available.

probably was a table of 6 and table of 5 and both games were going to break bc most people are scared to play short handed

well, live most wont play shorthanded as they are scared as you say.

plus the better players know the rake is brutal unless they lower it drastically, and wont play short handed.
