Help me laying down overpair Help me laying down overpair

The following hand is just an example of my leak: i simply couldn't laying down overpair even i'm sure i'm beat.

I couldn't explain the mental part of it, if i have KK and i see an A on the flop i can easily fold to a strong bet, but somehow i can't do it with a low board.

How do i overcome this? If i can fix this, i know i can increase my win rate a lot. My stats is 16/9/2 in 100K hands playing NL25 and NL50.

this hand is no leak, your just being results biased. you should not be folding KK on this board with the amount of money in the center unless the guy is the most uber nit you have ever seen.

if the pot is multiway and you get checkraised (and he is check raising in bad position), then you could have a case for a fold on some boards, but heads up this is just a standard spot to get it in.

Agree with above,

nothing wrong here really. This is pretty standard and most of the time you would be ahead against a whole range of hands.

Calling $29 to win $71.. are you ahead at least 29% of the time here!?

Yes of course you are.

to be fair, the villain played the hand pretty well by calling your raise preflop. i would've guessed he had a set before putting him on AA, esp because he checked the flop.
