Hi,
Just wanted to get some opinions on questions you ask opponents in certain situations in live games.
Some questions I ask, to try and get an idea of where an opponent is at:
"Will you show me if I fold?" (usually, a yes means that they'd like you to fold)
"How much do you have left?" (just to hear the tone of their voice)
When I have the nuts:
"What's the most that I can bet that you will call?" (then I bet over that amount)
"Did you make the flush?" (after facing a bet, and if I've made the nut flush)
"Well, the book says to raise this..." (with pocket aces pre flop, I actually saw Antonio Esfandiari do this on a HSP episode)
Does anybody have some conversational techniques that they use in certain situations and has worked well?
