I have been diagnosed with ADHD. I am a winning poker player and have been able to learn a good amount about the game. Wondering what this news means about the future of my game? Anyone out there with ADHD playing poker notice a difference with the "before and after"?

Er you didn't have ADHD until you were diagnosed with it?

It means that this is the perfect profession for you. A new hand(s) every few minutes (or seconds if u multi online) to shift your attention to. What job better suits ADHD, ya know?

I think the OP was wondering how his game might improve because ADHD could have been a barrier to his game.

Good way to initiate decent responses.

Considering you were the one that said "before and after" which could only be construed as before and after diagnosis

Yeah. Meaning how much better will I become. So I asked the forum if this has happened to anyone and if so, what changes took place for them. WTF is so hard to understand? How can I post my queston any other way? I did well before I knew I had ADHD. I am now looking forward to how much better I will be since I am now going ot be more focused. Jesus Christ! You people are annoying as hell. Don't respond to my thread if you have nothing worth while to say. Just read it and move on.

Don't expect miracles. I am assuming you think you will now be more focused because you are taking medication to treat it. It will help a little bit if you can stand the medication. The best drugs used to treat it are very strong stimulants - which create their own issues.

I am sure that every individual reacts slightly differently.

Good luck!
