I won't do it ever again personally, I didn't plan on doing it often just got motivated and did 100 maybe over a months time and sent them all in at once. After waiting almost 3 months I finally was informed I'll be getting nothing for them & I probably spent at least $150 on postage and everything else. Just silly.

You overspent on postage and supplies. 100 requests should be half $150. Postage for me only costs $.60 cents a stamp and the cards were $2 for 100 and $4 for envelopes.

Why are yall throwing yours away based on the new rules? Can't you just add the postal code to the top left and continue normally?

I didn't leave any space at the top left on the index card.

it says they have to be in the right order all UNDER each other. mine were technically in right order but had two on left and the other on the right, so even if i squeeze in the code, i feel like theyre probably gonna find anything wrong they can to void them. dunno if its worth the stamps trying.

did they just change it to where you cant copy paste the codes anymore? lol

Do they know why? I have a couple friends who send to Chumba so I'd like to pass along the info if there is any.

Seems to be banning the mass senders, with the reasoning being that they have the right to ban anyone for any reason.

They did. Savage move.

I scanned and email a sample to support asking if they would proofread it and let me know if it is acceptable. The updated sweeps rules say your name and email have to be in order and below the 12 digit number but it specify if they need to be on separate lines or just in order. I have been writing my name and email on the same line. I think I am switching to separate lines just to be sure but I would prefer not to throw away the ones I have completed.

Why do you need to copy the codes anyway?

All I can really say is that you have to be patient. Previously, they tended to credit the requests about every 2 or 2 1/2 weeks. The last couple have been longer - more like 3-4 weeks. But that still doesn't necessarily mean you would get them in 3 weeks. The wait from when you mail them is more likely to be over 6 weeks. And even if you mailed them all at the same time, it is possible (maybe even likely) you could get credit for some, and not get credit for the others until another few weeks have passed.

Just write the number on a blank card. You'll have to do that anyway and copying and pasting just adds a step to the process.

From what i read on this thread, you really do have to be REALLY patient. I mailed some in approximately 6 weeks ago for the first time. Still haven't got credit for any.

Thank you all for the heads up! I'm hoping that I did everything correctly and get some SC to play with...!?!?

What's the longest that anyone has lasted sending in 100 a week or more without getting banned?
10-06-2022 , 06:38 PM
I'm very unclear as to the banning aspect considering you have to play the SC through in order to have the option to withdraw...I don't know why the number of requests' would matter if you are satisfying the criteria set by Global...thoughts?

literally takes 2 seconds to copy/paste (or now just manual type it somewhere). Much better process than needing 4x6 index cards and a pen with you at all times. If youre getting codes and writing the cards at the same time then yea obviously then you can just write it.

My guess is not very long. Expecting GP to fund your roll to the tune of $25,000+ per year seems like it would put you on their naughty radar.

Global representatives have publicly stated on this forum that nobody has ever been banned for mailing in too many requests. Based on the experiences of my friends, I'm pretty sure that is true. I know someone who has mailed in more than 100 per week for a long time to both Global and Chumba, and has not been banned. I've never sent any to Chumba, but I do go on there to get my 1SC every day. After a while, I play some blackjack, and sometimes even win. I will say this - the people I know who send in a lot of requests to Global also play poker on there nearly every day, and don't immediately withdraw everything even after the playthrough. I think there must be some kind of combination of factors that lead to people getting banned, though I certainly don't have any idea what they are.

I am pretty sure it is simple math. If you cash out more sweeps coins that you generate in rake, you have a limited lifespan. I am convinced they really don't care how many you send in.

obviously the more rake generated the better but playing a lot also generates traffic (sngs + cash) which helps generates rake from other players a bit also. So im sure theyre still more than happy if youre playing a lot over the 1x playthrough but not quite raking more than the envelope sweeps you cash out.
