Sweeps Rules were updated today. Has anyone found anything different reviewing it?

Nothing of note from my cursory review.

They added a clause that says you have to become verified before you get your SC3.10 per week in welfare payments.

Id like to give an update and probably update timeline as we go in here:

I sent in 1500 envelopes during the month of August and never got credited for any of them. None have been returned to me through the postal service so i can assume that they all have made it safely. This amount is actually a smaller amount than normal for a month for me so whats off to me is their response when i reached out asking why nothing has been credited for over 6 weeks for me..

So I email them and ask them what the delay is and to make sure nothing is off. I changed my address because I moved in July. Before I sent any envelopes in for august, with my new return address.. i emailed global and let them know i moved and sent them all the info they asked for to verify my new address... Everything got verified and I was told that I was good to go to receive mail in sweeps requests with my new address thats verified on my account...

I emailed them and took care of all of this ahead of time to assure that I wouldnt have any problems sending requests in under a new address and to even let global know ahead of time so that communication and info was clear and taken care of before i sent any.

So I got the ok that new address is verified and everything should be normal... Fast forward 6 weeks of sending in requests and havent been credited any when i normally get credits every 2-3 weeks which seems to be their process. so missing at least 2 payouts seemed off...


So I email global and they told me they have not received any sweeps requests from me in the past mohth....

LMAOOOO BS! none have been returned to me. NONE. which means theyve received every single one of them. I send in thousands every single month and have never had them miss or lose a single one. None have ever been returned to me... now they say they cant find 1500 of my requests?? Seems very shady.

So they email and ask for all of the identifiable information that is on the envelopes
-name
-address
-email
-amount of envelopes sent

i send them all of this info asap and they tell me that theyve forwarded it to the department responsible for my requests....

Its been 2 days now and i havent heard anything...

for a company that changed the sweeps rules to make it more efficient and the process easier for them to handle.. its been a nightmare since and slowed down with payouts. how do you lose 1500 entries how do you misplace them? Especially from a user that has a history of sending larger amounts than that and never has had an issue?

Ill update in here as soon as they email me back with whatever outcome happens..

I wanted to post tho because I know a lot of people have said its been 6-8 weeks for them and they havent received any and for me that was never the normal and now it took me to email them and ask why its taking so long to realize they dont even know why and they have to look into finding them.

this is very disconcerning for me when the entire sites traffic is grinding to a halt and theyre lowering daily guarantees almost every day.

what is going on global? Why the delays? why the inefficiencies?

@Bawsten The worst part is you spend countless hours and hundreds of dollars in postage and you don't even know if you'll be credited.

They are very very slow with it now. Since the rules change last week it now shows in all caps that envelopes must be posted from the state you reside in. I live about 15 miles from the next state over. My mail gets processed in that state and not the one that I live in. They told me that if I want to be eligible I need it posted in my home state. This would require me to drive about an hour east in my state to ensure it gets processed here. How can this be a requirement?

I sent 200 envelopes and now there is a good chance I'll get credited for zero. Really silly requirement. I can understand if you live in NY and its being posted in Michigan but now you're making many players not even eligible by sending mail from their own mailbox outside their own homes. Not a fair requirement at all.

I understand they are probably receiving thousands of "entries" each day for all four sites combined but they need to figure out a way to expedite this. I don't see any end in sight if they are backed up this far already.

Yeah if your address is verified and thats your mailing and permanent residence Idk why it matters where you actually mail the requests from. What if Im a snow bird and have two homes and spend half the year in another state? This is against globals T&C, why?


The good thing is, theyre a regulated and licensed business with very clear sweepstakes law governing them. They will do the right thing imo if you just communicate with them. especially if you can prove youre sending them from your mail box in the correct state and then the postal service decides to bring them somewhere else and stamp them with a different zip code or something...

Yeah, it's unfortunate that I live near a surrounding state and that's where mail gets sent for processing. I'm putting my envelopes directly into the mailbox outside my home which is the same address I use and am verified with. I guess we will see what happens. I messaged Fendoff and Luckyland and they both said that the mail must be processed in my home state to be eligible. It's not their fault my mail gets sent to the next state over for processing because I live near the border of it.

I've been on GP since the beginning and have been credited with maybe 100 envelopes in over 3 years. Most of those were pre-request card era so it was way easier to send them in back then. The fact that you try to get about $7500 or more in free SC every month is a ridiculous abuse of this offer and I'm not sure why you would tell anyone that you are doing it. No wonder people complain about getting a few envelopes credited 2 months later. I hope GP makes you wait another month.

Whether you like it, or not, it's happening. It's a requirement for them to even be allowed to operate the sweepstakes. They are a publicly traded company. You're more than welcome to check out their financials. They're doing just fine from the looks of it. Global is just one of their four sites. They're doing exceptionally well thanks to their casino branded products.

You can get arrested for stealing condiments from a restaurants. Dont know many restaurants that have an open door policy to just come and take ketchup bottles off the table unless youre using them specifically for the meal you purchased in the restaurant.

You realize you have to play through all the credits they give you. That means Im in a lot of games/start games that generate a lot of rake and attract other players as well. Sometimes i even give some of it back to the player pool cause no one always wins.

I actually really enjoy playing on Global and really like the tourneys and how they structure registration, and no HUDS on cash or tourney. this is the rake back structure they offer on their site, all im doing is participating in the promotions. I promise you theres a bunch of people who do more per month than i do. Im just trying to understand why you are so against it, what does it take away from you that you need to hurl insults at someone online?

Just give it time my man, august was less than 4 weeks ago, just give it time. Should take around 6 weeks or so lets see what happens. I didn't send in nearly the volume you did, but I was credited for July and sent again in August
and have not heard back - just the default robo "due to delays we don't know when you'll be credited" but I assume it'll be fine

Really can't believe Global can't find a lawyer who can come up with a way to stop people who abuse the mail in system.

how is it abusing? they offer games up to 10/20 plo with a minimum buy in of 800 SC. They have to offer an option to enter that game with no purchase necessary. How can you limit the requests then per the law?

You guys are bitching about something you dont understand. This is the sites vip rake back program. Most of the time, even myself, they end up net positive on users because they have to play through the money and then they become regulars and long term customers on the site. They end up raking the same money they give away 10s if not hundreds of times. Its a way for them to offer unique promotions while populating and ensuring theiry eco system is healthy long term. Couple that with casino/sports/etc.... they have a really strong unique and LEGAL business plan.

I understand its been 4 weeks, but friends of mine have received mail in requests from the same dates and my issue isnt with how long its more of that they say they havent received ANY of my mail in requests when Ive been sending them for over a month, the ones outstanding, with none of them being sent back to my return address. If they said they were still processing like in the past they have when ive inquired then i wouldnt have said anything but now theyre saying they havent received them. thats very odd.

I'm sure a genius like you who spends 120 hours a month writing the same thing over and over again is capable of filing a lawsuit to get your free money.
