I feel that players are removed from tables much too quickly after sitting out. The "sit out next hand" option is essentially the same thing as leaving the table.

I don't think it is really that fast. I have for sure been able to click it and go use the bathroom and grab something to eat and get back in time to not have to leave the table.

With that said, a little longer would probably be fine.

How about a timer that says "You will be removed from this table in X number of minuets, so then at least we would know how quickly we need to make it back. Could drop it in player chat. "Player xxxx will be removed from this game in xxxx number of minuets if they don't sit back in"

does anybody know the exact time? is it posted on the site anywhere or.? Yes I would like to know this as well since im considering taking my overly aggro style to the cash game tables. I also enjoy using the bathroom and grabbing a coffee or water tho while playing. GP does listen and make changes even tho they've been mia in their paid for subforum for a week or so now.

I don't and have been meaning to time it on myself and haven't. On 6-max it almost seems two orbits and you're out. I'd like to see a specific time set and not an orbit themed rule.

I was hoping at least 15-30 mins but wow @ 2 orbits on 6max, thats not even enough time for a quick #2 bathroom break, let alone make or go get a sandwich time.

edit - 30 mins seems long for 6max online maybe 10 mins? idk its hard to say i see the site wanting to rake and players wanting full tables not dead seats but players need breaks too.

GG Poker does. They have a timer on the person sitting out, and when it hits zero they are booted.

Are you sure it's a timer and not the amount of blinds you miss?

I really do think they should allow a longer sit-out period in exchange for limiting the number of times one can sit-out in a period of time.

There's no timer. When I'm watching a table that I want to get on with someone sitting out or I'm on a table with someone sitting out, as soon as the button passes them for the set amount of orbits, poof they be gone before the hand starts.

30 min would be way too long IMO. 10 min would be good. I know that I've gone to the R/R, then threw a log on the fire and I was out. Was maybe 7 min or so that I was gone.
