This isn't groundbreaking news, but the new felt that Global is trying to force upon us isn't the most well received among these forums. With a bit of research I found the software that Global uses for its players, but it seems as though they are way behind on what it actually offers? I'm guessing this has to do with some sort of leasing contract that's yearly, but I'm sure I don't just speak for myself when I say that the community would prefer this felt and whatever is being provided alongside it far more than what their design team keeps bringing forward.

Cubeia offers portrait mode for mobile, running it twice and a significantly better lobby on its site which has me wondering what else there is that isn't advertised.

If Surge tables are never being created (would be nice to hear an update on its plans or whether or not it's been entirely scrapped) I would 100% choose this new felt over the beta one currently planned to roll out. Hopefully Surge and these tables are possible.

It seems pretty obvious to me, they have to pay to rent Cubeia's software. They're gonna force this **** software that they developed on us so that they can save money.

Cubeia is veritably weak in security. I'll play hold'em on a 2-bit tic tac toe board if it's not specifically targeted by real time solvers.
