Actually, I like money a lot, which is
why I am a short stacker. It's easier for me to multi-table when I don't have to make difficult decisions quickly for a large stack.
If poker wasn't just a hobby for me, I'd pour over the great books that 2+2 sells and buy in full like all the pros do.
I enjoy playing poker, but I don't particularly like studying it or even having to pay much attention to what the other players at my table are doing.
By the way, not even the most avid short-stackers that I'm aware of claim that short-stacking is the most +EV way to play. But it is a relatively
easy way to play, and the risk of ruin is much lower than buying in full (given comparable bankrolls).
