Guarantees Lowered? Guarantees Lowered?

Why is the Sunday GC 10k gtd now a 6k? Why is the nightly 5r 4k gtd now a 3k? Why is the nightly 30 2R1A 6k gtd now a 4k? The nightly's clear their guarantee every night, so please tell me this is because its Christmas Eve and they expect lower traffic.

Entry fees went up on three tournaments as well. Was the old price on Saturday is higher today. The $3.30 went to $5.50, the $11 went to $22 and the $5.50 went to $11

The different guarantee amounts are specifically listed for 12/24 and 12/31.

I assume it would be due to anticipated decrease in traffic for holidays, as GreenLantern mentioned

I think they should open the weekend gold coin challenge to be Weekend Challenge that way more casual regs can play, sometimes i don't have time or forget to get my 200 hands in and i lose out on a few of the tournaments, which discourages me to even try because i will not have a chance to catch leaderboard.

If they open it up to just Weekend Tournament Challenge it will drive more traffic and guarantees will be closer or even beat it. They can find other ways to attract players to play Gold Coin by putting Avatar unlocks behind Gold Coin achievements.

And they did this without warning, once again making changes without telling its customers, in some professions that would be illegal #sipstea

...they updated the website that listed the tournament schedule.

Would you prefer a voicemail send directly to your phone on every change made on the site? Or a plane with a banner to fly across your house, listing every time something changes?

get over it. it's really not a big deal (especially assuming that it is just due to the holidays). the $5 rebuy that starts at 8pm eastern (that is always a 4k GTD, but got lowered to 3k this week) is going to have greater than a 4k prize pool anyways.

best of luck to you at the tables
