Global Poker not reimbursing me after site froze Global Poker not reimbursing me after site froze

02-03-2020 , 03:15 PM
I was Registered in 8 sngs and was currently in 4 during the time the site froze. I was able to play thru the 4 i was in but i unregistered from the 8 to avoid any more issues until the site resolved their server problem. When i unregistered from the sngs i was not credited any of the money. They are telling me that because the games i was once registered in eventually played thru, i am not going to be refunded.... they also didnt include another sonia i was sitting at, was $165 in total and was keeping track the entire time because i knew this **** would happen. Heres globals response

They did this to me. They told me I was wrong about the amount of SnGs, then after MANY emails back and forth they finally told me I was right haha. Sketchy right?

Not sure Global is significantly mousier than the other major online rooms available to U.S. players.

While this is true this situation is still ridiculous and shouldn't be happen even if we are playing on UzbekiStars.

They reported back to me to show me there was a clear discrepancy and still didn't adjust my balance. ???????

I agree that the situation being discussed is utterly absurd and should not be happening.

I was addressing the general claim that GP is a "Mickey Mouse" site (compared to other U.S.-accesible sites).

This is laughable, here was the follow up email.

They still dont seem to understand that they are referring to games that played through almost 2 HOURS after the freeze happened!

Here is my transaction history plain as day, https://imgur.com/a/p3xg5lL . Does anyone else see any credits for unregistered tournaments, because i dont. Check mate

side note... does anyone know why it wont allow me to insert images with imgur links?

Global sends me email showing time and date and results of SNG's played during crash.

I say cool, notice the discrepancy? Please fix it.

Global emails asking me for the time of the SNG's played. That they just sent me.

It's a couple hundred bucks that's I'm not losing sleep over but I do know that this is the exact type of **** that sours people on Global and I wish they were more on the ball here. I'd like to be able to tell my friends they should play on Global.

Yea exactly, its not about the money, its the principle. We should be considered valued customers. I mean, they can clearly see our transaction history, why are they making us go out of our way to prove it. Its a joke

1. money is gone
2. i email saying it gone
3. they tell me it's not
4. i tell them it is
5. they refund half
6. i tell them they only refunded half
7. they say no
8. i say please look
9. they eventually refund other half
10. next crash im missing $6ish randomly AFTER my refunds
11. they never explain how or why (makes me think this has happened to me many times before)

how is any of this ok with you guys? if it happened to me it very well could have happened to you too & might in the future

Happened to me the crash before this on cash tables. They refunded me half of what I was owed after I emailed them (laughable that I had to email them). Then I had to explain that I was still short and show them where I was short. They eventually refunded me though after going through the steps. Quite annoying, but everyone needs to true-up whatever they refund you as they are incompetent with refunds. The site should have access to more info than me as a player and still can't get it correct on top of me having to notify them in the first place.

This site has the most incompetent management, software and refund support. Yet they still charge more rake than almost any other site. Also, this Global forum is a joke when we don't get responses for real issues. Instead, they respond to things such as little Johnny not getting his payout within a week...

Thing is they're actually not great on payout issues on this forum either. The actual Global Poker employees, such as Kimber and Joey, are great, smart, on the ball etc. The problem is that Global outsources their support to Zendesk and it doesn't seem like all of the Zendesk employees effectively understand the ins and outs of a poker site.

If I played online poker for serious money, I'd consider playing elsewhere because of the "disappearing funds" issue.

USA options are filled with with so much shady stuff that it's almost shocking global reigns supreme in least shady site (imo) even with these kind of things happening lol.
