Just tried to log in this morning and am getting 'Blocked Account Your account is blocked, please contact [email protected]'.

Any idea why this might occur? I've been there for many years, and been a model player.

I want to know what people are getting flagged for, there are so many of these complaints right now. im getting hesitant to keep more than the bare minimum on there

For example I have a VPN on my computer and if i forget to turn it off I'm assuming they could flag my account

OMG OMG OMG, my account has been blocked? Im hoping this is some sort of mistake? I have been on a sun run the last couple months and I have a significant amount of sweeps coins on my account. I have never used a VPN or any sort of software. Im really hoping I can cash out. I have been a loyal customer for years. What the heck is going on? can anyone help?

No VPN here, but I have recently traveled. Msg GlobalPokerCSKimbr - she is one of the globalpoker customer service reps on this site, so hopefully can get it sorted out.

When I logged on today there was a new terms popup that I clicked on but my phone wouldn’t load it. I closed the window and the pop up was gone. Not sure if this has anything to do with it or not?

Hmm the last post from the GlobalPokerCSKimbr account is over a year ago, so maybe they don't follow the forums any more, the account page doesn't list the 'last active' for that account. I just messaged GlobalPokerAdmin who has a recent 'last active time'.

No response via email yet either.

I just checked global today and signed on no issues. Tons of people are playing. It is probably a tech issue on globals end after the new user agreement just give it a few days. They always respond back to me. Are you guys sending tons of emails to them? if you do it backlogs them and takes them longer to respond.

Same here. Played earlier today then tried to log on just now and was blocked. I am meticulous about following the rules - no VPN, no software, no travel and playing…hoping it’s just a tech issue.

they havent responded to me in over 3 weeks, thats bullshit check my thread

We are working with the internal stakeholders to identify reasons and understand the process. Unfortunately, I cannot provide more information at this time, however, I do know that some accounts that were deactivated have been reactivated since.

I use Global Poker out of long habit. Moving to a new provider is inconvenient, but not impossible.

The lockout today was alarming and unsettling. Unlike my fellow posters, I am not thankful. Rather, the event yesterday increases the level of distrust I feel and makes me uncomfortable maintaining a balance with Global. Your post does not alleviate my doubt since it provides no information about the cause and no assurance for the future. Will I wake up tomorrow with no account? Why should I take the risk?

I'm unblocked now but this is completely insane and unacceptable and global needs to do something to make it right if it expects players to keep money on the site.

Well I am not lying. They always respond back to my emails no matter what it is about even their top people have emailed me back over concerns. They have some of the best customer service of any poker site I have played on. Maybe they are not getting your emails. Try different email. That is one thing with global I have never had a issue is with customer service help. This happen to me with acr back in the day they were getting my emails but when sending back to me my email server was blocking them from emailing me saying it was spam. This is not rocket science. They obviously are not getting your emails or your email looks at them as spam and blocks their messages back to you. Just try another email. This is common sense stuff. Instead of getting mad and cursing people calling them liars, just ask for help.

I don't understand how that is insane and unacceptable if you got all of your money back. No money was stolen or anything. It was a tech issue and all poker sites have them. What more can they do when a issue like this happens that is out of their control? You act like they ment to block your account or something. I think online poker players complain to much including myself when I did this for a living before I retired. People I trained complained about dumb stuff non stop like they are entitled to something. Its unbelievable. As long as they resolve it should be no issue here. You missed 1 day of poker, its not the end of the world dude. I had money stolen from other sites in the past. This is not a big deal.
