I know it over a million, but does anybody know the exact number?

52 card deck Choose 5 has 2,598,960 combinations.
In excel, type: =combin(52,5)

You can also look at it as permutations / (perms per combo) which helps to conceptualize it and also allows you to easily do the math longhand.
Permutations = 52!-(52-5)! or simply 52*51*50*49*48. Then the ways 5 cards can be permutated is 5! or 120, so divide by that. Same answer.
So the full formula for figuring this out longhand, which can be applied to any numbers, is
= [52! - (52-5)!] / 5!
= (52! - 47!) / 5!
= (52*51*50*49*48) / (5*4*3*2*1)
= 2,598,960
