Cole South might be one of the underrated end bosses of poker. He has to have made like somewhere in the top ten all time online. Plus he prob got some of that Stinger/Isildur money

Haven't listened to any of cts podcast yet, but def am going to asap, still use a lot of the poker and life tips I got from Cole's old cardrunners vids and podcast appearance (iirc he gave a ton of good advice in a Bart Hanson podcast many many yrs ago).

And it was confirmed that he had very large piece of the isildur matt and that brian t, stinger, and him were sharing their action when they played hu w/ isil

I'm half way thru it and totally agree. I wasn't on 2p2 when he was posting a lot but I've read a lot of his stuff in the archives and have obv heard him mentioned a lot by others. He's seemed kinda like a mythical figure from poker folklore until now. Good to see him in the flesh. Powerful smile!

This and the jungle podcast were both awesome Joey. Nice work sir!

The BldSwtTrs / lolotrickedu namedrops from CTS, such nostalgia. lolo ended up evolving again a bit later into a 19/16 that raised 30% of flops (zhugel1ang) and smashed 25/50 for 8bb in ~2010.

CTS was an endboss from pretty much the very start, his early graphs were always the sickest back in the day and his work ethic was insane. From everything I've seen it never died down, either. I wouldn't be surprised if he has played more hands of PLO lifetime (at the stakes he plays) than literally anyone else.

I hadn't noticed, but this is a good thing imo... means he genuinely gives a damn!

I had never tried podcasts until Joey's StickyRice1 interview, and now I am hooked. I thought the StickyRice1, Jungleman, Lex, and Jen Shahade interviews were all amazing. The Sticky interview was one of the strangest interviews I have ever seen... in a good way!
