I'm not sure why but I decided to make an investigation video into what happened at UFC 229 between Khabib & Conor after the fight lol. I spent entirely too long on this video but I took one incredibly deep dive on all the people who were involved in this.

tukhugov and makhachev will never fight in the ufc (again), that's correct (they're nobodies and probably would never be champions). but khabib will.

this ties into what khabib said about the media and how mma is becoming a "trash talking sport"- he's 100% correct, the ufc has been desperate to boost ratings for a few reasons and they have really been leveraging this whole bad blood/****-talking aspect of things in order to generate hype and drum up more ppv buys. the ufc will take the public position that all this ape-like nonsense is COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE, but they have shown time and time again that their business ethics are pretty poor and they will most definitely apply double standards and selectively enforce various codes of conduct for their big stars (i'm not even going to bother listing examples).

everyone is going to want to see conor v khabib II, and after paying 4 billion to take the operation off the fertitta's hands, the ufc isn't throwing that opportunity in the trash.

like here's a pretty good tell- the fact that khabib attends post-fight presser with the belt sitting next to him. if the ufc really had as much of a problem with this stuff as they pretend to, they would have (at bare minimum) immediately stripped him of the belt on the grounds that no champion in this organization can represent the sport that way, zero tolerance, etc etc etc

but they don't care, because this is what people want to see and this is what gets people talking about mma. they already got their primetime cable network (fox) and corporate endorsement (reebok) contracts locked in, it's "mainstream" enough now that scuffles like this won't be putting any proverbial black eyes on the industry. i think the general public already pretty much knows what to expect out of these guys.

That MMA video is great. You need to keep making videos that can go viral not related to poker. But make sure to keep making the poker videos too. That is the most important. What I see is a future poker boom and it's all going to be because of you, just keep finding ways to connect poker to non-poker related topics and bring the people from those areas into poker!
