I wouldn't want to see Chuck Bass on. Seems like the podcast is doing great at the moment. I had a personal experience experience with him that wasn't too pleasant a few years ago when i contacted him for coaching, when he was doing well in the games. The Kid is an absolute bellend. As far as him releasing a strategy book, isn't he drawing dead there? He made some money, went busto, got backed, did **** and then quit, Not sure that would be marketable and I don't think he's qualified.

Bob emphasized that we would really be surprised about who this NVG SuperStar is that owes him 7 figures for sports bets placed (or not placed). I don't know anyone who would be surprised if it was Ivey -- lifelong craps/gambling degen -- considering that was my first guess and now the guess of others.

It is still probably Ivey as he would have access to casinos that would take large sports bet action from him (if only to encourage him to keep bring them his craps action), but I can think of two other possibilities.

How many NVG SuperStars are there (Dwan, Ivey, Ike, Isildurr, Zigg, DN, Jungle, JRB)?

How many of those would have a relationship with Bob that could involve having them place large sports bets for him (Dwan, Ivey, Ike, DN, JRB)

Not too surprising. Poker players deal a lot in cash for big purchases where ordinary people take loans (eg buying a car). The whole credit score system is pretty rigged in general too, where diversity of loan type helps your credit score. I'm not sure how horrendous your score needs to be to get 10%, but it wouldn't exactly shock me if jungle forgot to pay his credit card off on-time regularly or if he has some other delinquent credit due simply to laziness or forgetting they exist.

but what does it for me is when haralabos says "i won't say who it is" -- he did however say who it WASN'T when he denied it was neither edog nor bilzerian. but when asked about it possibly being durrrr he wouldnt confirm nor deny. why would he "100% confirm" it's not bilzerian or edog but not durrrr? when given the opportunity you'd think he'd end the speculation that's sure to swirl.

^ That's exactly the logic I used when guessing...it was blatantly obvious just as you said; he was happy to confirm it wasn't Dan or Erik but as soon and Durrrr was mentioned, he hovered away with "i won't say who it is."

It would have been an easier read if we gauged his reaction if Joey mentioned Ivey as well.

Yeah, and considering his close affiliation with those chinese sports book guys, its 90% durrr. Which is just so sad, like many others here I was a big fanboy until the 50k hand challenge vs jungle, now this, what a fall. I never have thought him not paying jungle meant he was too broke to, in that situation I can see him rationalizing some reasons to not pay him yet, but him not paying haralabob in this situation just seals the deal that he's broke, or a complete sociopath, or both, imo.
