this is definitely a card worth testing imo

we all know how many synergies warrior has with dealing damage to minions so it'll be interesting to see what works/doesn't work with this card.

5/2, 5/4, 2/4 of stats, so ~12/10, with some charge, and buffs some minions if you have them

could hero power with it on 10

I think that card MAY be a boom replacement in MR hunter. It being 7 would have been a lot more convenient though. But also probably too strong.

on to the carditself, this is probably one of the best arena cards in the game.

I think its prolly really really really good in midrange hunter too? If midrange hunter exists, lul.


I was also wondering if hunters would just not play traps/eaglehorn at all in the new expansion with the mad scientists being AFK.

But then I remembered that freeze trap will send old gods back to the hand without replayability... so i dunno.


also agree that 7 mana instantly makes this card incredibly OP, UTH, kill command, 4th companion, even infest would be decent, lols.

Yeah, I actually think this card is super strong. The ONLY issue is that hunters rarely can afford to not finish the game by turn 8 or so, and this is "only" 5 damage for 8 mana to the face with no taunt

I guess the problem is MR hunter is losing mad sci, spinner, creeper, shredder, belcher and loatheb along with the upcoming juggler nerf the arch type is going to need to be completely reinvented so it'll be tough to judge this before the release

EDIT: That being said I think I went undefeated or like 4-1 with My MR list in the tournament in which appears to be a slower meta, so not all hope is lost.

This was my thought - it doesn't really do enough to finish the game when you're trying to on turn 8 for a midrange type hunter, and it doesn't really provide all that much utility for a control hunter (if such a thing were to exist) despite the value inherent in the card.

I guess the dream is like you slam huffer into that new 5/5 shaman taunt and then you have a 5/4 and a 2/4 for 8 mana, that's pretty damn good.

i think the most powerful thing about the card is that it guarantees a leokk to buff every existing minions. I wonder if some hunters could run thaurissan and make cool combos.

I mean, there are still like 6 hunter cards to be revealed I think? including thier legendary. I'd be so pumped if control hunter was a thing but goddamn that dumb hero power is making it hard

Is the card good?

This card, yes.

Will it be played?

Depends if hunter has viable decks that want 8 mana cards.

Comes down to if blizzard throws enough at a deck.

Remember when Paladin didnt have early game? Well, they tossed them Shielded Mini-bot, Muster for Battle, Keeper of Uldaman. Result? Top tier deck for nearly a year now.

2/5 charge kodo (might have to learn his name now) + this card is 13 damage for 8 mana. kodo + Ouro (refuse to call it Giant Sandworm) is kill x minions then deal 8 damage to enemy hero.

I've found card draw a big issue for my stupid experimental Control Hunter decks. Don't think anything's been released that addresses that yet
