Lol won my first game NA. Went for the priest cheese, didn't get it but mind visioned Troggzor turn one. My opponent didn't counter with Troggzor so I just mind controller his foe reaper... Ez game

I dunno. I haven't played it yet, but I think anything with deck construction has to be at least a little but interesting, because there's always the question of how to optimize your decklist.

So, what's a good list for this Brawl? I was thinking priest for the obvious Mind Control, but also for the less obvious Divine Spirit, Resurrect, and Shadow Word: Death. Also, double BGH, Voljin, and probably a dragon package including Rend?

I don't know Mindcontrol turn 1 into Faceless/SW: Death turn 2 is pretty strong when going second.

I don't know how I feel about velen/malygos with no way to bunch them together into a one turn combo -- starting with ten mana in play doesn't mean you don't need Emperor. Personally, I'd rather see more bombs. First turn Alex is just too ridiculous not to have, and Nefarian is pretty OP in the format, especially in a gadgetzan deck. I'm thinking you cut the Light of Naaru, Holy Fires, and Azure Drakes for Rend and 4 dragons (Chromaggus being the forth, because of it's synergy with PW:S).

I thought it would be cool to play lots of expensive legendaries, but everyone is just spamming charge minions and going face. Not fun. I got ~50 wins in the last brawl. I did my 1 win and haven't felt like playing it again.

I've been tweaking the Dragon Miracle Priest deck, and have pretty much settled on this:

Although I do think it might still be weak to someone who goes something like "leper gnomes, arcane golem, muster for battle, divine favor", which one opponent did do, and caught me without a Lightbomb in the top 10.

got bored with priest and tried making some new decks and ive had some success with this draw rogue

you use the draw cards novice, coldlight..... to cycle through your deck until you got enough dmg in you hand for a otk

I actually like deck construction brawls.

I seem to get myself in a never ending spiral of theorycrafting that no amount of testing can cure. Now that I say it like that, it sounds like a mental defect.

Anyway, that rogue deck list has no Gadgetzans or Malygos or Alexstraza, so it must be wrong.

If you run Gadgetzan you need to add small spells that are pretty useless without it, making mulligan and early turns awkward. Since we are using shiv, novice, coldlight, gnomish, drake and sprint for draw we have 12 good starting card and should be able to start most games with draw into draw into draw for turn 1 and 2.

If you have Maly you could jut switch the win condition from charge+buff to spelldmg and add conceal but it doesn't belong in this deck.

Alex is great in this brawl and probably should be in the deck

I've had over 20 wins on each brawl. Including 70 on the spell brawl. I've 2 wins this week (one of which was a disconnect). Just don't have any desire to play it.

This was my 2nd most played one. Love that you just get to play the fun turns of miracle rogue. Going ham with gadgetzan is prob my favorite thing in the game.

Amaz was playing brawl just now and it was Nefarian vs. Ragnaros again.

I wouldn't mind playing that brawl a few more times. It felt like a totally different game, way more than just having a couple new rules.
