the problem is a 4/3 for 4 is a really horrible trade vs any 3/2 that will cost one or two mana on average, stealing a secret is cool but nowhere as important as BFG effect with better stats

undertaker is obviously the biggest problem right now. flare nerf seems weird. it was already being cut from hunter decks

gadgetzan nerf i am perfectly fine with. the solitare nature of it is anti-fun

soulfire seems more a nerf against warlock in general which was needed too

I think spamming arena runs will be massively +ev upon release of GvG. There will be both an influx of casual players returning and a lack of resources available for people who may need help developing strategies on their own.

They probably tested miracle and it was still too good and non interactive with gvg via auctioneer @5. We can let that deck die now. oh and with all of the spare parts that will be floating around now maybe he was just great in everything.

hunter was wayyyy too strong against secret classes (mostly mages), and soulfire made all in locks too stronk to finish imo

I think they're kind of indirectly nerfing undertaker with some of the new cards. It isn't an overwhelmingly powerful card by itself, there just happens to be no counterplay yet to the deck it creates.

For example they're introducing a card that does damage to deathrattle minions. That's a healthy addition to the game and will severely weaken undertaker decks while not making them completely unviable.

Something like soulfire should be nerfed on the other hand because really the only counterplay you could introduce is like giving every class a counterspell.

So I'm pretty OK right now with blizzard's balancing decisions but we'll see how it goes.

Soulfire for a mana is a joke imo.

4 mana 4/3 that steals secrets is awesome.

Wee Spellstopper seems like it will make giants very good for mages
Wasnt Whitegoose asking for a card that prevents minions from being targeted with spells, and being told that it would be too strong?

I like that shamans are getting some self healing with that totem, even though it will be hard to get a lot of value from it.

Hemet Nesingwary is even worse than Bolvar as a waste of a great character.

I dont see how it isnt terrible. How much do you have to heal for to make it worth spending 9 mana? Plus it also heals your opponents minions and hero.

You may have healed yourself from 5 to 30 but your Zoo opponent still has board control and also healed from 15-30 so now he is free to tap away and crush you with tempo and card advantage again without worrying about dying.


I think the 4/3 secret card is awesome. Not in arena since secrets are less common and 3/2s are more common but if constructed decks with secrets are still the top of the meta then this will be a must have in decks.

Tree of Life 9 mana spell "restore all characters to full health." I assume that means your enemy hero too? And apparently with Auchenai Soulpriest if you thoughtsteal a Tree of Life then everyone just dies? Rofl.

1 mana Soulfire sucks a bit. Some sick new Warlock cards though. Might have to go away from Facelock to something more midrangey. (Leeroy + PO +PO + Soulfire now will cost 8 mana instead of 7 for 18 dmg )

I would have liked Hemet to have been

"Battlecry: reveal a random minion from your opponent's deck, then destroy it."

It is flavorful since he hunts something down, and potentially ridic vs control since you can snipe a finisher. Maybe unbalanced, but was a thought.
