your second pick is really tough both the fireball and the water elemtal a very good. propably he best cards foe mage beside flamestrike.
both are fine i propably go with the waterelemental. the freezing effect is huge against warrior and paladin and very usefull against druid and rogue.
third pick i go with mirror image and it isnt close imo.
ice barrier is a dead card never pick it even if i had a mad scientist i wouldnt pick up a ice barrier. it has no impact on the board what so ever and if you play it early on the tempo loss allone can lose you the game. he priestes has awfull stats for the cost. its to early in the draft to pick a card like her up and the mirror image can be situational very usefull.
4. thats a close one too the 3/2 is fine i would propably pick the cultmaster though. its early in the draft you can just pick the strongest card at his point and head to head i think the cultmaster does more. the mage does have a decent pool of strong 4s so i dont think its necessarily a mistake to pass on the cultmaster here.
5. pick actually 4/4s are easily removed 5 is the magic number. since you passed on the mirror image i think is the mindcontroll tech here if you had it it would be closer but propably still the tech. the thing here is for the auctioneer to be good value you need to draw a least one card of him and you have one 3 mana spell so far you might not be able to pick up any low cost spells for the rest of he draft. the teck on the other hand is always fine its a 3/3 for 4 you can just drop it on curve and be happy about it and at times he can get insane value.
8. pick it is not close at all. frostblt all day especially since you have a auctioneer but even if not its still frostbolt by a large margin.
10. you are saying you allready have 2 2drops as if that would be a large number you want 5-7 imo on the other hand you allready have 3 5drops. the silver hand knight is fine here but its something to watch out for.
16. i take the wargolem here the panther is ok but you are a but heavy on 3s and its not the ideal 3
19. the ogre imo you do have 2 damage spells so you have some synergie with the spellpower you only have 1 4drop so far and the murloc is just bad against classes that have a 1 damage ability and those classes reign supreme in the arena so i tend to avoid it.
25. you have to pick the grunt here in a nutshell the crusader is of course better but you have too many 3s as is and you need a few more 2s.
26. for ****s sake will you stop picking 3s allready the novice engineer is he pick here.
