I get the impression a lot of casual players are going to be pumped about the new priest cards. Whenever I start playing constructed at the beginning of a new season, rank 14 and under are just stuffed full of bad priest decks.

right now the reasons not to play priest are:
- you hate fun
- you want to win a lot

if you can play priest and win a lot, the meta will shift towards everybody playing priest
then the meta will shift towards everybody still playing priest and loading their decks with 4 attack minions
then the meta will shift towards everybody still playing priest and whining about having no way to deal with 4 attack minions

Been playing a bit on the US server, since I have almost all cards on the EU server by now.

Got my first 12 win arena on that server today, with this sweet rogue draft, and LOTS of gold, which was nice.

just had the most insane comeback of all time D:

in arena with paladin i have 2 hp vs a warlock with 26

he has a stormwind champ, 4/6 taunt, two 3/3 and i have like one 2/2 one 3/3 s and a 4/2.

I mindtech the stormwind champ, + play my direwolf.

Clear board and got a few survivors

Next turn he floods the board and i couldnt survive killing everything, I topdeck hammer of wrath which is still not enough.

I hammer face, draw the stormpike commando, exact lethal.

Get ****ed.

The math is probably off on a few things but you get the idea.

Hunter definitely a solid choice....not sure about snapjaws, but depending what else he plays could be fine.

Haven't played on IPad, doesn't look miserable, but more that being rushed by the timer is worse on it, and that some people just need to play faster.

Game is practically identical on an ipad. Everything is better with a mouse rather than a touch screen obv, but it works really well on an ipad.

I hope the new Priest card crushes arena hard. Reason: Every time I am 0-2 and playing my third game, it's a Priest mirror match.

Also, when it comes to constructed, I'd like to know why it is that the odds that handlock will have all four of their giants in hand by the time they're fifteen cards into their deck is roughly 100%.

amaz busted out priest for a win in dreamhack first round. now gaara is playing emperor cobra in his ramp druid. miracle has actually been getting worked by druids and hunters

balance seems good to me

I dont think the balance is fine when everybody brings exactly 3 decks:

1. miracle rogue
2. sth that crushes miracle rogue
3. sth that crushes decks that crushes miracle rogue

TBH especially with such a small and simple card pool three viable top decks is a pretty damn good metagame.

MtG environments are happy to have that many viable decks in environments with 3-10 sets. Even if you nerf miracle rogue until it's unplayble, the metagame will still "settle out" to being:

1. Deck X that replaces miracle rogue
2. sth that crushes Deck X
3. sth that crushes the decks that crush Deck X

...and that's if you're lucky.

Rock/Paper/Scissors style environments are really common in CCGs.
