The 2 mana 1/1 with divine shield and spell damage is going to be in a lot of decks that also run Thalnos.

You get Frostmourne randomly from one of the 8 death knight cards.

Only way to get DK cards is Arfus ({4} 2/2 deathrattle: Get a DK card) or The Lich King ({8} 8/8 get a DK card at the end of your turn)

Also released a {3} 1/5 'Your end of turn effects are doubled' to get two of them

"None shall pass."

The Warlock DK looks sick in Wild.

Standard demons kind of suck ass:

Blood Imp-meh
Flame Imp-good in aggro but not going to fit with Warlock DK archetype.
Void walker-solid
Succubus-sucks, discard doesn't fit with it
Felguard-trash
Unlicensed--really bad especially with DK--could literally kill you if it's spawned first
Void Terror-was good with PO, only good in wild
Lakkari-sucks to discard so sucks
Pit Lord-with more heal could work but in general the card sucks
Doomguard-bad with archetype
Dread-not bad but not great
Absyssal-a good card, could it make a comeback?
Krul-not sure, probably won't be great
Jaraxxus-would be good but obviously slow; would be redundant with DK

Seems like the standard warlock needs more solid cards to make it work; wild seems like it could be great especially with Reno.

Zoo without Imp Gang Boss still looks meh.

If my weapon has poison does this kill a minion?

I would think so, but you never know with Blizzard.

Can you attack and throw your weapon the same turn?

In the kibler match he doomeranged then re-equipped and attacked on the same turn so I would think so

it feels like there's so many vanilla neutral cards that would be awesome in this meta, but everyone feels like they have to play the latest cards.

Twilight drake for example.

think that happens with every expansion as people try to experiment with new cards, and even old cards that were underutilized, then come back to boring, solidish cards that they ignored for the first month or so.

Example: Druid of the Claw finding its way into both aggro and ramp druid decks halfway into Un'goro.

The meta is super efficient. I really doubt there are many, if any sleeper cards that people are ignoring solely because they aren't new.

The meta will shift in a day or less most of the time. People try out all sorts of weird **** constantly and the stats are aggregated like crazy now so people know the exact % certain cards win at.

Well there are cards that make old cards better, like Arcanologist. Also conditions change to make certain cards more viable.

Pyroblast made a comeback in a big way in almost all mage decks. I think people like Thijs originally started running it instead of Antonidas because of the prevalence of Dirty Rat/Taunt Warrior, but it just stuck around and everyone realized how good it was.

Rallying Blade was put into a ton of paladin decks maybe 2 months into Un'goro.

Onyxia being used in control paladin was kinda weird and I'm not sure it's great.

Yogg.

Yogg seems to get a slight buff with this set. Reviewed all of the new spells and only a couple will ruin your Yogg roll.

Hope to be proven wrong, but expansion looks pretty underwhelming imo. I hope heroes work out better than the last few gimmicks like quests and gangs. At least the meta should be fun for the first few weeks.

This will be the first expansion since gvg that I haven't bothered buying the pre release deal. Not many of the cards really excite me that much and I have about 17k dust after dusting all my duplicate golds and 3k dust for packs which will get me 90% of the playables anyway

After viewing multiple reviews from streamers, seems the neutral card list is quite ****e.

This is the least excited I've been about HS in a long time.

Def just my fault for being cheap but every recent expansion release is a few weeks of playing old decks until you get lucky and open a new meta card or wait for the new meta to settle a bit so you can craft carefully. I went through all of ungoro without ever playing a quest deck, eh. Makes the new release less exciting but hey.

Yeap I'm at the same point. 15k dust 6.5k gold. This is the first time I haven't snap pre-ordered an expansion or adventure.

Not saying they are necessarily wrong but I watched both MsOG and ungoro reviews and all it showed was how badly streamers sucked at predicting cards in general.
