Not even freeze mage?

I used to silently fistbump myself whenever I'd get that "Win 3 Games With Shaman" quest before the xpac. Now I think, "Man these next 12 games are gonna suck."

I agree, I already run 2x Highmane, this is in addition to that. Last few games he's just been nice to have on board when stuff like Auctioneer makes an appearance and you want to get rid of it quickly. It's probably better in arena than constructed.

I can't seem to do **** with it, no idea what I'm doing wrong. I seem to fare better with a straight jade package.

Quest rogue isn't a deck that's difficult to counter. If it really is a neverending stream of questrogue, you should be getting to legend easily with the right deck.

I know nobody likes to hear that, but if you're facing quest rouges all the times, pirate warrior simply crushes them. I actually had to craft the deck for that very reason, heaven't played it before Ungoro.

Btw, I'm having a lot of fun with what I call "miracle priest", that is control priest with Lyra, 2 radiant elementals, 2 pyromancers and tons of cheap spells, you get huge swing turns vs aggro, but it can also crush control (ie, taunt warrior), since you can get up to 4-5 free from ambers per game. Unfortunately, you instalose vs quest rouge

Right. I wish i could face this. Instead I get a random sample of hunter, PW, taunt warrior, freeze and a few rogues. I keep switching decks and getting wrecked.

I just saw 5 straight taunt warriors...how is that deck fun?

My God. No matter what I play I queue into the perfect counter. Playing aggro murloc paladin very first ****ing game I queue into some moron running 2x blizzard, flamestrike, 2x volcanic, Kabal courier which gave him cone of cold, babbling book into another blizzard and glyph into another flamestrike.

I've gone full rigtard on this game. baudib was spectating me last night, I rolled up a mr pally and then for the first time in like two days I faced...mr pally.

Like I'm sure it's just some kind of recall bias on my part but I swear to ****ing god every time I switch decks I queue either into its mirror or its counter, it never fails.

I had no pirate wars for 30+ games over 3 days, removed crawlers from my decks, immediately 3 straight pirate wars

Like wtf. At this point I'm just losing to piles of 30 random cards. This shaman was running lava burst, elementals, jades, lightning storm, pirates, bloodlust and devolve. Oh and don't forget stonehill defender which got him a white eyes which he drew the 10/10 off of immediately and then shamblered.

everyone is whining it seems,Im guilty of it too.
I thought of my games and I can say a really high percentage of my losses are me making mistakes(from small one to massive brain freeze,roping out,wrong order plays,etc...) and this makes me feel way better than crying about rng.
Im sure Im one of the worst players in this forum,I have a low knowledge of decks and meta and I often quit the game for a month or 2 then comeback.
I dont practice decks and jump into ranked with any new deck and have no idea what im supposed to do.
And the worst part is Im playing so bad Im actually afraid rng was kind to me till now
ps:I dont even know all the game mechanics and some cards I encounter I have literally never heard of them before.

There's a new mage list out that runs a lot of burn and Medivh, I might try that one because I love Medivh.

Haven't seen many shamans, druids or pirate warriors lately it's all taunt warriors, rogues, mags and the occasional hunter.

It's fine to put 2 of them in hunter. They're beast with decent stats to begin with.

When is the right time to play dirty rat versus taunt warrior? In that stretch of games, I played five dirty rats against taunt warriors, hoping to hit a taunt to slow down their quest, but hit ravaging ghoul all five times. They never needed to play the ghoul against my control priest so it just sat there in their hand each time.

I was waiting until they were around 5/7 done with quest and I had a board or spell to respond to the rat pull. Is that wrong? Just second guessing myself.

^^^ play it early imo and try to pull stonehill defender which they will mulligan for.
