I hate playing against hunter. Feels like they have literally no decisions. Me play alley cat. Me adapt cat . Me play animal companion. Me play houndmaster.

Also... I think I'm just playing against bad quest warriors but I went 5-0 vs them with the freeze list posted above. No El Ratas to be seen though which was nice. The last game I got 5 fireballs off uncle Tony.

I've never understood why Houndmaster isn't a beast either, since he looks exactly like the Beast from Beauty & the Beast

Giants miracle rogue is the strongest deck i've played yet this expansion. I'm playing eloise's version she took to #1

This list will be a nightmare when it's refined.

tbh this deck doesn't even feel like it gets bent over by PW. Rogue got so many new control tools, I can actually win without having bigass edwin on turn 3. And I can definitely tell finley rotating out hurt them in this matchup.

I was watching Eloise play a couple days after and she said the version without the giants is definitely better. It had Leeroy and Violet Teacher and 0 fan of knives, which I can't bring myself to fully cut.

I'm actually not sure I agree with her or why she thinks it's better, but there you go.

I can see part of Eloise's rationale because this expansion has offered some new tools to combat giant bodies.

Read an article yesterday (forget from where) in which they described some search features in "My Collection" that I wasn't previously aware of.

First, entering "extra" in the search function will bring up any cards where you have more than the two max copies. This can come in handy if you're looking to dust golds without looking through your entire collection.

"Missing" will return all of the cards that you don't already have.

"Rare," "Epic," "Legendary," will return all of that type.

Something like "attack:1" will return only cards with 1 attack.

Most of you probably knew this already, but I've been playing for a while and had no idea.

I do think elemental shaman is very strong but I don't think it will be oppressive. It's not like the days of Trogg/TG where you constantly struggle to live past turn 5. Firefly/Shard/Tar Creeper etc are fine anti-aggro tools but they don't pressure you.

There might be some bursty version that arises, like Doomhammer + Rockbiter or Bloodlust and TFB/Feral Spirits, but very often if you can find a way to clear them they run out of gas -- control decks can definitely outvalue them.

Like a lot of decks, the shamans lack card draw without Azure Drake.

simiarly, I am not buying this aggro druid thing. If they don't get Living mana by turn 6, they end up in top deck 1-drop mode a lot.

I don't understand the appeal of violet teacher at all.

I don't think i've even come close to losing with midrange hunter since the expansion hit.

There's already a double doomhammer burst version floating around. Someone hit top 5 legend with it. Volcano is OP when you never have a board.

Antonidas isn't even core in this list. It might very well be fine to not play him at all. There is enough damage to do the normal freeze finish with alex->15 damage burn against most decks. This deck is better than the old freeze mage vs. aggro since you have more minions to fight for board, and you draw secrets consistantly with arconologist, which enables valet effect and so on. The way to beat aggro is usually to outlast them. Beating waygate mage isnt even that tough since you should be faster than them and they dont have healing. Just procc their block first and it should be a win.

It's mosanto's list, and I found out about it from laughing. So no credit to me. Deck is definitely strong in the right hands, and maybe weak in the wrong hands. Which is how decks should be, imo

Lifecoach was playing a weird dragon priest deck vs. Dr. Hippi's freeze mage in GG. Dr. Hippi is supposedly one of the best at freeze. Lifecoach had a greater healing potion that he used after he got Alexed and that was basically the game.

I also ran a couple of times into taunt armorsmith warrior with massive armor and I had no idea what to do.
Ive watched some guy playing the list with 1 flamestrike and he wasnt making the deck look pretty like laughing.
Ive just watched 4 or 5 games and Ill watch other streams when I can as I really like freeze mage and I wanna make it work.

That's funny, when I first started playing my only game plan was to get to turn 10 and Pyroblast face.

Since that first month or so I've probably played like less than 5 games a month with mage.

I googled "elemental shaman hearthstone" and spent 45 minutes reading about the changes to elemental shaman in WoW and now I kinda wanna try it
