Really excited that Hunter seemed like a viable option in the new exp but I can't seem to beat quest warrior or quest rogue with it. I need some aoe but don't know what to use. Thought about wild Pyro but I just don't use enough spells to justify it. Will post deck in a sec

just removed some minions and included explosive trap and grievous bite to see if it gets better.
always loved starving buzzard and it seems a lot more effective if these new 1 mana minions.

The more midrange lists seems a lot better, just get rid of the quest and add Highmanes and some of the stronger 2/3 drops.

in retrospect poison was a better adapt but i was too excited eye for an eye worked

Gentle megasaur is insane, just a much much better enhance-o-mechnico since you are always playing him in a murloc deck anyways. Really no reason for 5/4 stats.

playing taunt warrior atm been refining the deck quite a bit and it's really fun and destroys pirates (yay)

What do you guys think about cutting elsie? I have played her once so far only. It's not like old control warrior completing the quest is a win condition and even in the mirror I didn't need her.
Hesitant to do so just yet though, but she could be superfluous?

MR hunter has fared well. Just smash their face and burn them down with hero power, they're at like 12 hp when the quest finishes.

I posted a Mage deck earlier on this page; and a combination of Mana Wyrm into Apprentice+Quest or Arcane Anomaly+Quest, or even Mana Wyrm, Coin, Apprentice+Quest is a pretty competitive opening vs all the Rogue stuff. Feels like a big favourite vs Quest Rogue and close to a flip vs Aggro Hunter.

yeah elise isnt a must in taunt warrior, its mostly for the mirror and there arent enough nzoth priests around to warrant it

hunter with just a way higher power level than last patch just seems like a good class right now. Quest might be more a downside than anything.

the obv problem with quest hunter is its like the worst of both worlds of mid and face hunter. If you want to play a bunch of low cost cards and be aggressive, face is much faster. If you aren't playing face, midrange curves out much better, and is probably ahead all game since they play an actual minion t1.

I've climbed up to r6 pretty fast with this list, thought I would share it.

Basically destroy quest decks by pulling their win condition and against other decks abuse the number of removal options at rogue's disposal (especially vilespine slayer).

Not fully refined yet, but I think the list is good as is.

I'm going to guess that people like you and me aren't going to play it as well as Thijs, but he got incredible value out of it. He would often revive it 2-3 times a game, turn after turn, and it would win the game for him quite often.

Yep. I've been blitzing thru dumpster ranks with a questless MR list.

Game is fun when nobody knows what anyone is playing. Loving the adapt mechanic as well.

MR Hunter beats the quest rogue prettily handily. They can't just keep bouncing minions and ignore the board, if they do you have sticky minions and do tons of repetitive damage. Then you get into turns 4-6 with Houndmaster/Hydra or Roc or Hyena or whatever/Highmane and it's over.

Quest mage is worse than quest rogue IMO. If they get the combo you just lose the game. At least with quest rogue they still have to play out the game.

Yes it does. Fatigue is no longer the main one condition for control warrior, once Sulfuras is up the inevitability of a win is there and even jades cannot keep up forever

wat, I've gotten Sulfuras up twice against Jade Druids, I lost both. You need to kill them fast or the 'inevitability' is on their side.
