I'm of the opinion Justicar (via Warrior) has inflicted more misery on the Hearthstone community than any other card in history. I'd rather have charging molten giants back. 4 Armor Tank Up is just the single worst thing ever done in HS. It's not even that it's OP, it's just finger nails on a chalkboard, win or lose.

Thats a big claim when cards like piloted shredder existed. Or dr boom, minibot, mysterious challenger... i have nightmares!

id say thaurissan too (with reno) because of all it enables in decks that can cycle

pyro has the benefit of being much harder to balance and have a unique property for a 2 drop that you can have two of.

If pyromancer were so good then the decks that rely most on it (control Priest, Control Paladin) wouldn't be Tier 4 decks and the Tier 2 decks that are losing to shamans (like Maly Druid) would be running it. Rogue, with its cheap spells and lack of AoE would be running it.

I disagree that Justicar is well designed; I'd bet a lot that the game designers thought every class would benefit from it, instead of it being a defining card in a single class archetype.

Best designed cards:

Imp Gang Boss -- so good it's one of the most important cards in Zoo and Renolock, which couldn't be more different from each other.

Fiery War Axe -- Staple in every Warrior archetype

Reno Jackson -- Unique effect, usable in multiple classes, meta defining.

Alexstrasza -- Terrific and versatile, can be heal or used to push lethal.

I love and hate that card. Without it I think warrior takes a big hit.

so far maintaining 70% WR with MR shaman lul so balanced

also running kinda bad and missing lethals like crazy. i could see a top player maintaining like 80%+ with this deck.

"good card" doesnt always equal "good design"

pyro is great design. war axe is obviously good but extremely bland (not that there dont need to be bland cards)

I think you probably need to get like 1.25 coins on average to break even if you're not running Auctioneer. With Gadget maybe it's something like .5 coins, but your opponent knows you're running Gadget so you're less likely to get the coin. I'm going with too close to call on this card. Azure Drake is p tough competition at 5 in Gadget decks.

Who besides Rogue really benefits from having extra coins? Obv they all do but does this enable more Gadgetzan in other decks?

It's not totally crazy to run Gadget in Druid, people will try packaging him with this new guy

That card is more likely to see play in a post-Thaurissan world where it will be a much less reliable activator for certain combos like Leeroy + Faceless + PO or Brann + Doomcaller.

Discover is terrific, I think everyone would like to see more discover cards.

I guess it depends on what you mean by great design. Obviously FWA is very simple but that's the beauty of it. It's extremely powerful yet balanced; it's a must-have 2x but no one is screaming for it to be nerfed (like Spirit Claws).

Yeah, FWA is for sure OP. It is not what I would call a balanced card.

Like, there have been a bunch of 3/2 3 mana weapons with upside. FWA is better than all of them by a mile.

Ooooo, this is a cool card. It has a big ass, so you can usually get a coin out of it, I think. Especially in rogue which is pretty good at keeping the board clean. My prediction is that this will be played as a 3rd 5drop in rogue. I think azure drake is a bit better, and you probably wont find room for 4 5drops.

Like that it has 6 health too, I think that is gonna be a key number with the new priest and warlock AOEs.

Also would like to see some mechanic where rogue can turn coins into something more than just gadgetzan card draw.
