For those interested, after Trump's (in progress) arena session, he's supposed to review the newly released BlackRock Mountain cards. I'm curious what his thoughts are. Not that his word is gospel, I think he was fairly pessimistic about Dr. Boom when it first came out...lol.

You can come up with all the ******ed corner cases where it's awesome that you want. It doesn't make the card good.

Your words "to do literally nothing" implies there are no cases where it does anything. Fatigue isn't a "******ed corner case".

Also, saying a card isn't good is different than insisting that it literally does nothing. It clearly does something that can be argued to at least be situationally good. It may be that those situations are few and far between, but time will tell.

I don't know you, so I was assuming that you meant what you typed. If that makes me an aspy, then so be it.

That being said, I get what you mean in the sense that when you play it, it literally does nothing at that time. You spend 2 mana, a card, and have nothing in hand or on the board to show for it. But the value in what it did becomes apparent as the match progresses.

The potential value of Gang Up increases significantly as the size of your remaining deck decreases. That can be proven mathematically.

I think Gang Up and Lava Shock are going to turn out to be useful cards. Grim Patron, Axe Flinger and Resurrect I confidently predict I will see about as often as Far Sight.

Seems like it can be played for pure value really easily. Hold it in your hand with a blademaster, play it early, then rez it up. clear value. etc etc.

it does seem somewhat random obv. i dunno. im willing to try it

For the record, Trump thinks "Gang Up" is over-rated and will be terrible, because "It does nothing", hahaha. He did say what I said above, though, that it is relevant when fatigue is a factor.

Majordomo Executus - Seems like a really bad card, right? Leaving hero with 8 health after it dies? Yes, the transform to Ragnaros is cool. But it seems like a card that is a last ditch effort to (barely) stay alive? Or am I wrong?

Curious what everyone's thoughts are as far as which class is getting the best new cards, and which is getting the worst?

I think Shaman and Paladin are benefiting the most, and Priest, Warlock, and Warrior are getting shafted.

i don't get the priest resurrect card

priest doesn't run minions with great bodies aside from blademaster

if anything you'd want an opponents minion

if its not played early when you can control the minion pool it draws from, it seems meh
