I would keep quiet about the $15 - especially if the game is that good/so much cheaper than going to the casino.

However, that's only because based on your OP (I think) that you aren't completely positive about what happened. I would in the future be watching this guy like a hawk - and I wouldn't hesitate to swing at anyone who robs me.

Those who are claiming that what you did makes you a mark are a bit off I believe - you're new to the game, you're not completely sure about what happened and this game satisfies your social and monetary needs. Your actions when you are positive that you are getting robbed indicate how much of a mark you are.

What you did was definately a lot better than making a massive deal out of it, but you should still have asked him not to touch your chips and got him to give some back. Its a reasonable request: noone's going to boot you from the home game for that.

+EV what you did. Slightly higher EV/respect if you requested him not to do that and give chips back.

Be equipped in future - Bring a bag.

These situations are always horrible because its a home game and in contrast to a casino you usually expect you can trust everyone. I would approach the host alone and explain the situation to him, see if he trusts the guy or not and if he has any history for such things. The user Pfap on here wrote a similiar thread on how he was sure he was robbed of chips by a reg and then later discovered that it was actually his error after all the fuss he had made, so be honest what percentage are you certain the chips were stolen and it wasnt a mistake on your part? Otherwise proceed according to host and dont return if you feel it may happen again or you are uncomfortable in the environment.
