question about poker chips question about poker chips

I was thinking about buying some kind of labels and printing denomoniations on them and them putting them on my poker chips. Has any one done this and any info you could provide on it would be great.

What I was looking for was basically a sticker that would go on the center of the poker chip but not extend the edges just to the little ring that runs around them.

I have 2500 of these chips and use them for charity poker tournaments and would like to find a way to do it cheaply as possible. It gets to be a pain in the butt every time I run a charity event telling people what each chip color is worth

and

chiptalk.net

We used vinyl labels for our league, put them on ourselves in an hour - quite happy with them.

I guess I shouls have been a little more clear: I WANT TO BUY THE STICKERS AND PRINT THEM MYSELF. They don't have to be vinyl

the folks at chiptalk.net have all the info you need (and about 10x more). There are articles on labeling chips that go into magnificent detail about what kinds of labels work best, what brands to get, how to print them, how to align them...

thickness is an issue -- some chips require very thin labels or the added thickness causes trouble.

So, they just need to last for a tourney?

Stickers used to be out there, don't know who still sells them.

Cheaper, easier version- small paper hand-out chart, with chip colors and values (and blind structure on the other side). One per newbie.

Avery labels and a printing program (like Print Shop). Design your logo, print the labels then stick 'em on. Cheap and easy.

I've also used print-em-yourself labels for one-off projects (awards, prizes, chip-guards), and used these guys:

Paper, but work. The software is so-so, but harmless.

...but why not just get 'em printed on vinyl for cheaper?
