You might consider getting a hot stamped set - think of this like "branding" the poker chip.
For example:
If you are in a big city, the local poker/gaming supply shop might offer this service on chips they sell. it is much harder to find someone to do this on chips you already own.
I started with a personalized set using stickers (which worked out ok). Now I have tens of thousands of vintage chips worth more than a nice new car. I don't regret it at all.
