Looks as if the Absolute guys have found a new job....

Tough break, MA. That would have put you in charge of the table.
How many places pay in those things?

And what is that goof doing- ALWAYS assuming people are cbetting with AK? Weird...

He's actually done that 3-4 times while I was at the table, he's ridic bad and catches cards like a god. It almost feels superuser'ish TBH, but I can't imagine the $2.50 level would be worthwhile. That one I believe around 800 places paid. But the field was pretty ridic huge too. 1st place was $1.7k, 2nd $1.2k. I was playing some of my best too, I'm getting a lot of good runs. During that session I almost pulled ANOTHER $2/180 turbo and also moneyed a $4/180 but lost on some shenaniganz. I was getting ran down like this hand ALL night.

BTW I know this isn't the right forum section for any of this, but I like you guys better, I feel like I kind of know the people here.

(Also had I won that, I'd easily be top 3 spots running probably to a FT. That table was really soft and let me get away with highway robbery. Poor Kyle showed up just in time for me to die )

Looks similar to 1 that I had. I had a guy that was playing anything and everything. He would do raises with nothing as well.
I thought I would raise, and figured that if he called, he had a high ranking hand.

With the flop, I seriously doubted it hit him.

Blynk, my guy though was playing randomly bad hands... Like he was not playing more than 25% of his hands and I don't think he like ever raised. Baffling horrible that when he played these rare horrible hands(and rarely even any good ones) they'd catch and get people big 3-4 times he did it. I don't really get how people play poker like this, at all.

Also let it be noted, I understand the value of playing the suited connectors to kill hands like mine, but this flop was not the flop he should be wanting to stack off on. I don't even hate the preflop play he made but his postflop is terribad.

Sounds as if he was playing a strategy of gambling with non-dominated cards. Maybe not as stupid as it seems, if the stacks are deep and the movement is slow.... and if you can play properly after the flop, which he couldn't

Maybe protecting himself against getting too committed on the flop, against the biggest stacks, with the worst position? Or trapping.

was a little strange.

He didn't 3b, he 5x raised in the BB v limper and complete.

His hand looks almost identical to mine.

And I agree his strategy isn't too HORRIBLY bad, but his postflop play is where I go "This is why people think poker is luck you ****ing donkey." I didn't tell him that, because I want him making ****** calls all day, but I sure as in **** said it as I punched my monitor.

Oh wow, I'm a ***** ******... That's what happens when you get up at 9 AM for a tennis match on TV. I kept re-reading my hand. Ignore me.

That being said I don't think the 3bet is bad. I might have went with 1.1k but he's facing another villain with a bigger stack and they are both really deep... A small 3b is fine since you're not looking to go TOO crazy with the over pair unless you get the right flop for it. Odds are good villain has Ax or another PP and can profitably call here with their stack sizes. If an Axx flop comes you can try and keep pot small and make it to showdown or force them to reveal their Ax, and you can also avoid setmining traps this way. It's not common to think this way but it does happen occasionally in tournament poker. (Generally you don't see 100x very often unless its early on in the tournament.)
